Such incredible technique in the right arm omg :o how do you stay so relaxed doing slurred staccato and sautille??
Man... I know you must have worked hard and really earned it, but I am SO jealous!
Benevolence4 10/10 recommend sevcik bow technique exercises
@@danny_chestnut253 2 months of Sevcik later and I'm still on the first three exercises XD thanks, it's already made a huge difference... it's astounding how much such simple exercises can change the way more advanced technique is employed! 12/10 accepted recommendation lol
8:38 and 9:25: an angel face!!
People who can make music come to life just have a special place in my heart tbh ❤
This is so lovely! This piece seemed so easy at first, but then, it changed every so quickly😂
Amazing show!
Hey it's that page turner from Twoset lol
First thing I noticed.

Menhuin in the background... Also my favorite!
Love him too! (And the way he cared about people)
This is a beautiful piece of music, you're performing
Really beautiful performance!
💓💓💓💓💓
Felicitaciones.
She seems so happy and relaxed, great job!
absolutely beautiful!!!
Absolutely fantastic!
Simply BRILLIANT
Amazing 💜
Cómo disfruto ver y escuchar a ésta señorita👏👏👏👏👏💐
Just found this channel nice mix of vlogging and expertise. Great learning with aptitude and brilliant focus, now it gets more complex for you no doubt! 😅 Engage with other talent as you have and you will continue to flourish. Find the place that you are happy and take no notice of people that defer you (because they will not be malicious about this but frequent!). Make your life of your passions and be free :) Good luck and great work so far! Thanks for sharing! Millions of people can take insight and (at least) inspiration from this. Make sure you continue to benefit from other things though. People can wait. Be free :)
Verdaderamente impresionante, hermosa interpretación....

How sweet...
❤🎻WONDERFULL AND PERFECT🎻❤
Bravo 👏👏👏
That was awesome!
That’s such a great sounding violin. Easily the equal of a strad.
It is a strad on loan :-)
It IS a strad lol
it *wasn't*. on that time, she had a Storioni, loaned by Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
It's not a great sounding violin, it's a great sounding violinist! :) Even a strad can't play itself lol
Bravo for violinist and piano player!!!!😃
Bravíssimo saudações de Brasil 🇧🇷🎻
BELLEZA ABSOLUTA, TOTAL!!!!! FELICITACIONES!!!! UNAS GENIAS LAS DOS..!!!

Wah ,, saestu sae, kula remen sanget. Donga pamuji kula mugi sehat terus nggih.
You're so beautiful and talented..
This makes me feel so bad that I couldn’t afford and didn’t start playing instruments before 16
Don't worry, you can improve a lot anyway, i have done more in my 17 than in the 7 years before
Newt I just wish I could do music as a career or go to a music school like she does but it’s going to take a long time for me to even get somewhat good. And I’m graduating high school next year. I mean I’ve always wanted to be a singer to but I can’t hit a single note.
Newt but thanks that gives me hope!
@@yc2877 Saying this as a violinist who is nowhere near as skilled as Sumina but is in a master's program anyway -- you one hundred percent can do it. Sure, the top schools typically want people who came out of the womb playing Paganini, but you don't have to go to the top schools to have a great education in music -- you just have to find a teacher who is willing to take a chance on you. Your dedication to your own improvement and your diligence in your practicing matters more than being a virtuoso right out of the gate, and the right teachers understand that.
And hey, you don't have to go to school right away, either. Between finishing high school and finishing my master's will have been ten years for me, and I'm planning on taking at least another year out before I start auditioning for PhDs and/or orchestras. Take time out, focus on your practicing, and apply/audition when you're ready.
Phew, essay of a comment here... but I really hope you don't give up on this if it's something you truly want. You got this! You have nothing but time, and you can go nowhere but up from here.
I feel you
Beautiful and Smart girl...
Waaaaa 😍👏👍
I already subscribed to follow your videos!!🙌🙌🙌🙌
So nice dear
❤️❤️❤️
Sumina I love you.
Beautiful girls
😍😍😍
Yasssss, I swear to god she only practiced this song for like a minute and then performed it. That’s how good she is😂.
Edit:I done messed up with meh terms .... don’t worry about it.
Well I swear to god that you wrote that piece of nonsense without thinking about it for more than 2 seconds!
@@lsbrother jeez youre really dating urself by saying that mr
There is only one problem with all of these videos
It's hard to choose a favorite one because they are all extremely exquisite
absolutely beautiful!!!! wonder if u won the competition...
Majestic Furball nerp
Did she win or not????
SeungJong Lee Unfortunately, she didn’t win. Diana Adamyan from Armenia won.
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
👍🏻
Brilliant rendition!
😊
0:28 this is actually the predecessor of reggaeton XD
8:06 is my favorite part!
💯🎶🎵🎻
You must have won that competition..
She didn't :(

Hi crush!!!
A magrinha arrasou!
You're so beautiful
Some of your gestures remind me of Ray Chen!
they are dating
Elora ma Are you serious?
Is it the eye gesture?

She sounds great but I just don't think this was the right pick for this competition when most people played more challenging and virtuosic pieces. It's getting harder in these types of competitions because the gap in technique and interpretation is getting smaller and smaller between the junior and senior rounds, and you don't want to be playing something that someone several years younger than you in the junior round is playing
This is very challenging and virtuosic....
Yes but you play many pieces, and even a kid plat the same, the jury expect more quality on your interpretation... so you can win a compétition with not the most* difficult pieces 😉
@@finn7591 there are much more challenging pieces than this that she could've picked tbh
Harrison Loeffler that really has very little to do with it... she has one of the best recorded Paganini 5th caprices I’ve ever heard, which is considered one of the hardest in repertoire. But even so, it’s simple minded to think that this piece is too easy for this competition.
presumably she played a bit more than one 9 minute piece?!
Sumina, I bet your math skills are on point! Anyone who plays music at this level has to be great at math. Just my theory, idk? Either way, I'm jealous. Because I suck at math and I'm not at your musical level. Lol! Excellent!! Bravo!! 👏
Boba Squid i know many kids, which are awesome on the violin/cello too , play with a "perfect" intonation, have an awesome musicality and so one... but not everyone of them is good at maths😂
thats me. I am terrible at maths and I don't enjoy it at all. However I am just about to do my Diploma level music exams in Australia.
no correlation, most important factor in determining whether someone is good at maths is interest. If you don't enjoy maths or don't care about numbers, you're not going to be good at it
@@lizzy8147 most people good at music are good at math too; at higher levels, you can "predict" the score, and build your interpretation from learning the popular scales. Adding and substracting semitones on the spot requires some mental energy.
please remove the ad :(
great of course..but she can afford to dig in a bit more on the string in parts
Isn't that page turner Maxim Vengerov?
Lalalalalalala is opera on the voice but on the violin....not so much.
Did you get what I said
Tasha Van Huss no
Disruptive ADS.... 🙄😡🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
To interrupt such a beautiful performance with commercials is a mortal sin!!! And whatever they are selling, I am not buying.
It’s that page turner
None of the comments hither have a reply.
This one does!
😂😂😂😀😁😁🤑🤑🤑🤑😯😯
Can you teach me how to play like you😂
I think you made a mistake at 6:22 - 6:23.
yeh , ig that's why she didn't get the finals...
It is not really a mistake. She touched quite lightly the 2nd string.
At 9:05 it occurred again, this time with the 3rd string, I think. Looking at her bridge its shape seems to be rather straight.
Jesus christ.
What’s wrong with recorder or piano tuning??
Violin is so beautiful, but tuner is ruining everything lol.
❤️❤️❤️
