- Well it’s about time! I finally got a custom belt and holster rig. It’s only been roughly 3 years since I’ve been deemed a gunslinger that produces content for this platform, so it’s about time I got some custom leatherwork done.
The topic of today’s video is to go over the influence of this rig, which was none other than Wild Bill Hickok, and talk about the unique, yet historically accurate features the belt and holster combination has.
A big thank you goes out to Mitch of JM & Company for putting this together. The craftsmanship was superb and you hit nail right on the head in terms of what I envisioned! It will be well used!

Snazzy rig! There's something deeply satisfying about custom work from a real craftsman.
Tragically, I don't have anything worthy of such a fine holster myself yet, but perhaps fixing that will be a good resolution for 2024.
Missing the old iron, huh? That’s ok. Take your time and get the one you want! Then have the holster built around the iron!
I like them. I prefer historically accurate rigs over goofy modern trick draw versions.
I agree! This one is as close as you’re going to get without stealing it from a museum of some sort! Plus, it’s a double cavalry draw! Not great for quick draw!

@@SaintAndrewTV We all know that I'm the world record holder for being the worst gun spinner. However, I got out one of my '51 Navies and tried a few spins while standing next to the bed in case I dropped it. Managed a couple back spins, but forward spins were.. Well... Pitiful!!😵😄 My record still stands! Ha!😆😄

I work security my belt has changed since watching Wild West videos my quick draw has improved there is something to say about the butts first I am a regular man but get respect which makes my job easier Inner city Kansas City

I am in that is a very good looking rig you got their son. However, you might want to practice on them twist drawers . And do you like cartridge guns over black powder
Never shot black powder. So cartridge by default. And this is my first belt! I so used to strong side, I have some work to do!
