@@michelleeden2272 Yeah... You do realize you spend over 20 years (on average, calculating average life span of 80 years for Americans (I'm American, that's how it's gotta be)) of your life asleep. You basically cut out over 20 years of your life already. Mot to mention bathroom time which probably takes up a few years, eating, fighting with losers in CZcams comments, ect.
It is very distracting when the readers voice is changed, let alone the gender is changed completely! The female voice is high pitched and grating especially after the slower mellow male voices. Not very pleasant. I had to stop listening.
For a free audiobook, i cant really complain. If the recording is just too awful to me i try to find a different one instead. Some books have multiple LibriVox recording. No point complaining when these people are not getting paid to read.
I would say it's a very uneven.. Some books are excellent lunt such as many of the Sherlock Holmes and others poorly done dumb such as this journey journey to the center of the Earth
