Sam, your videos primarily concentrate on e-commerce businesses. However, the strategies you discuss often revolve around sales not discussing how to set up conversion tracking or for leads, which may directly apply to service-based businesses like ours where the primary goal is lead generation rather than direct sales, unlike e-commerce. Could you please offer insights on setting up conversion strategies tailored specifically for service businesses? This clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Damn this is good!
Great video. Thank you for this info.
Glad it was helpful!
You're awesome. I love your simple yet logical approach.
I appreciate that!
Hi, the custom segments sextikn seems to have moved. Oncant find it on desktop. Can you direct me to where it is, please?
What if you are a delivery service between restaurant and customer. Do we add products to our catalogue from the resturant and use this strategy?
Great content, saved my life
This is what we love to hear
Loving your content Sam. Would you say your strategies work for B2B ecommerce (products range from $300 - $3,000)?
For me B2B with medium price points the strategies that I talk about in this video and many others definitely apply BUT there are very tweaks that need to be made. For example you may involve DATA, and pricing sheets that fluctuate more regularly instead of just a normal set up as shown in this video
Hi Sam, in a different video you suggested running the Pmax on Conversion Value plus set a target ROAS for breakeven. In this one you suggested running conversions without a target CPA. What do you think it's best to do for a brand new to google ads but not new in general? (under 1m rev)
Hey it definitely depends from brand to brand. If you sell products with a variety of prices then ROAS/Value. If you have products all with similar prices then tcpa/conversions
@@SamPiliero Got it. Do you recommend setting a target CPA for conversions even if the Google acc is new?
Awesome video Sam. Do you still recommend performance max for brands doing more than $5M per year?
100% When brands get over $5M per year and are spending over 50-100k per month in Google I still recommend PMAX. At that level of scale you might have to create a second PMAX campaign if you have multiple product lines or a variety of offerings. In addition to PMAX, a Standard shopping campaign can really help to scale things up.
Thanks@@SamPiliero, makes sense
Do i need to change the final url to the product page or keep it as the homepage? or will google automatically change this depending on the product from the merchant centre information? i tried putting the product page but it threw up an error. thanks
If you’re running feed campaigns as mentioned in this video then homepage is fine.
Are we supposed to use performance max campaign for fresh google ad accounts? Or should we use shopping campaign as start?
Pmax is fine to use for a fresh account.
We are just starting out, $0 sales so far 2 months into the opening of our online store. Does your video's strategy (for under $1m sales) apply to us, a brand new brand?
It does but it can’t fix an unsellable product, make sure you have real demand
@@SamPiliero Do you see men’s dress shoes, ties, cufflinks and sunglasses as “unsellable products”? You say it applies to new stores and brands, but I am curious who will have $2000 to spend a day on FB/ Google advertising other than big brands with deep pockets?!
can I create several performance max campaigns at the same time?
Absolutely
