Will you kindly clarify the following?
We have the Quran in its original form as it had been revealed to our Nabi 1400 plus years ago.
We know nothing about Sunnah Ibrahimi except what is mentioned in the Quran. What we know about the Sunnah of our Rasool is found in the books of hadiths written from hearsay 230-300 years after the passing away of our Nabi. At that time the narrators of these hadiths found in various books did not exist to verify or deny the hadiths attributed to them. Apart from the fact that many of these hadiths insult Allah, our Rasool, and his private life, the Quran, and poses great challenges to human intellect.
Now let me refer to Surah Al Furqan, 25:30, wherein our Rosool will clarify his position before Allah and tell Him that after his passing away his follower had discarded and abandoned the Quran as a book of no account. My point is that our Nabi will mention Quran only which his followers had abandoned and no words about his Hadith or Sunnah.
The Sunnah is not transmitted through Hadith. It is transmitted just as all other established (i.e. proven) history is transmitted and is transmitted using the same human factors with which the Quran has been transmitted. سنّت کی تعریف معلوم کرلے تو غامدی صاھب کا جھوٹ پکڑا جیگا
Javed Ghamidi suggests there two sources of deen - the Qur'an and Sunnah. This is contrary to the Qur'an which tells us to seek deen exclusively from Allah - ie the Qur'an. I'm not sure where you get the idea that the Prophet was supposed to rediscover and correct the sunnah (or traditions) of previous prophets. If you mean some meaningless rituals eg going round and round a building or throwing stones at concrete pillars - how does that help human being improve their lives? why are such actions worthy of reward?
