I'll tell you a secret: you can actually see stromatolites at Lake Clifton, near Mandurah, too, altthough the Lake Clifton onese are Thrombolites. Only 40 minutes drive from Perth theyre a lot easier to get to but I prefer Shark Bay any day. Plus you can play with the goats at the radio station. You can see dolphins up close in Mandurah too.
ps nice videos. Its a pity you didnt get more views.

Don’t know where you got that tiger and hammerhead sharks are harmless they are far from it even reef a will bite you.. FYI great whites are around as well in these waters.. us Aussie are always aware of what’s around us in the water..

Hi there! It's a good point that you make that these sharks are wild animals and can always be dangerous, and I definitely agree that it's important to be aware of what's around you in the water. I was just meaning that as far as snorkeling on the Ningaloo Reef goes, it's generally thought of as a (relatively) safe activity and the sharks that you'll see there are (mostly) harmless. However, snorkeling + any nature trips/wild animal encounters can always come with danger and you make a good point that people should be aware! I'll call that out more specifically in the future.
