Shehr-e-Zaat revolves around a beautiful day-dreamer, Falak Sher Afgan (Mahira Khan), an only child to very rich parents. Falak is a student of fine arts who makes the sculpture of the man of her dreams and falls head over heels in love when she finds the breathing manifestation of it in Salman Ansar (Mikaal Zulfiqar).

If the Arabic language was introduced in national curriculum as a compulsory foreign language when Pakistan was created as an Islamic state in 1947 , today's generation would have been fluent in that language to learn our holy book Qur'aan and understand the deen.

I wish Sanskrit was imposed from which most of the lndian languages are derived and we could have read our holy books in their original format

Yes it's indeed a very good suggestion to reintroduced Sanskrit language in all school in India as a compulsory subject for all students regardless of their religion. I would with all due respect love that our young generation learn Sanskrit language wherein Hindu scriptures are written so that there will be true understanding of the religion, and that is why I have said that Arabic language should be taught to Muslim students so they can understand their religion better. Looking at the girls in older dramas, i wish things remained simpler. It isn't even that old, and at that time, still the looks were considered modern. Yet natural hairdos and make up made characters look so real. Now everything looks plastic.

Last year in this same time of the month, when I had some days off from university, I went into severe depression. And this drama was being aired on TV in the morning some 10 to 11 am. I watched it, every day and this one time when I missed an episode, I cried as I was very weak emotionally. It's the same time, I have some days off from university and I can feel my winter blues kicking in again because I have this strong urge of watching this drama once again.

durr e shehwar made me cry and remember my days of struggle in Sasural .we are different nations with same social structure.
but as durr e shehwar decided to go through this test i also had decided why should I leave this house of sasural.i was in despair that husband will never support me against the wishes of my MIL but my parents friends suggested be positive, things will change and yes things changed.i got free from that house thoug i maintain amicable relations.
