I was born and raised in Chelsea, very sad to see Manhattan in its current state of filth with the homeless pushing stolen grocery carts everywhere. 😢

This Is in 8th Avenue midtown. Where the two bone head Mayors former Mayor deblasio and Now Adams. Have put hotels now into homeless shelters for the mentally unstable, Illegal immigrants, and former criminals all into these so called shelters near tourist. Its mainly in 8th Avenue and 9th. This is not the whole Manhattan.

Wow! NY lost its mainstream Glamour when everybody was dressed to impress! 😢

well,..this is "Hell's Kitchen". Not Park Avenue. But yes, this is not a 'trendy' area. Go down to Soho, maybe you'll see more better dressed fashion. ;p

@@WelbyCoffeeSpill yeah, I’m thinking NY as a young lady working in Manhattan…even in the Hood for that matter…then grunge came, and prison style became “fashion” 🥲

Maybe if greedy real estate developers wouldn't create such unreasonably high priced places to live there would be less homeless people. NYC is one of the top 10 most expensive cities.

I’ve lived on 37th & 9th since Hudson Yards was just a McDonalds. The area, including 8th ave. has been ridiculous since 2020. Drug use, homeless loitering, windshield washers, random restaurant windows with cracks, fights, its wild. I was chased by a junkie at 5:30am for my morning run. Who knows which hophead has a knife or has AIDS. Best part is, they walk by as if I dont belong there. 😂

  • @sincerelylatoshamonique8781

I see these same homeless people everyday. They frequent the 7/11 next door to my job. I'll buy them a donut, sandwich, or a cup of coffee, but won't give them money.

It's the same way in San Francisco. It's sad that the local leaders in government don't care to fix the situation or care what is happening to many of these once great American cities!!!!!! 🇺🇲😢🗽

I love the bewildered tourists in their freshly pressed clothes stepping over what are probably puddles of urine asking themselves did they really pay $300 per night for their pos threadbare hotel?

You sound ignorant. You seriously think all Manhattan is like this ? He just like showing the bad areas. Maybe expand your brain and look at vlogs of people who show the nice parts. But that wouldn't interest any of you. It doesn't give you much to talk about then?

Been here since 1969 - Nothing change really - there always homeless people in bus terminals in all cities. the nitty gritty old NYC is mostly gone in most neighborhood due to newer buildings. but is always dirty some better than others. don't know why it surprise some people.

What is your narrative here, that NYC is gross? Or are you trying to point out the ramifications of bad politics? I can’t tell if your motivation is to call out impoverished and marginalized people as a direct problem for you or if there’s a desire to influence changes to restore NYC to a healthier and cleaner state. It just feels like you’re pointing the finger in the wrong direction, it should be a focus on politics that result to these things.

Either way this channel is widely unproductive and makes you look like a neighborhood Karen filming people without their knowledge under bad and inaccurate rhetoric

The last time I walked Fifth Avenue was back in June 1985. I was on vacation from Ireland and I was mesmerised by New York. And then I bumped into somebody from my homeland. Wow, New York never ceases to amaze 🇮🇪☘🇺🇸
