Always exploring the space, Fred. Kim gave us a great basic idea to start with!

The fluidity with which you play all of these variations really gives me something to work toward, Jeff. Fantastic content, as always.

Thank you, James! Yep, that fluid thang is something we will always chase! Long game for sure!

An absolutely essential book. Combined with any of the standard reading texts, you have a few years of homework there. Great musical application, Jeff !!! Will try it at a soundcheck later today 👍🏼

Really enjoyed this, great sound and feel. I always appreciate anything with the late great Kim Plainfield, his playing on Bill Connors Assembler and Double Up Albums is legendary. I am reminded of a transcription that appeared in Modern Drummer in the 80's, Kim answered a question about 2 tunes: Sea Coy and Add Eleven. Any chance of you dissecting either of those tunes ? Thanks so much for the content!

Thank you very much! Kim was incredible. Very thankful for his work. Add Eleven always gave me a Holdsworth "Water on the Brain" vibe. Love that tune! Just may have to make a lesson out it. Thanks again!

Very well explained and expertly played. Great advice too. One observation:Just curious 😀about the physical right foot placement on the pedal which appears significantly off-centre with just the toes making the main contact.

Thank you, Terry! Great question. Actually it may look like the toes are the main contact but it's really the ball of my foot that is controlling the pedal. Since these Tama Speed Cobras are considered "long boards" the "sweet" spot is a bit bigger so the foot has a bit more range to play with. Thanks for watching and your question!

Jeff do you have a monthly membership on any of your programs?

Actually recording courses for it now. Aiming for late 2022 enrollment. But in the meantime, the 8-week Drum Discipline Boot Camp is pretty transformative if you want to take you playing to the next level. www.drumdisciplineacademy.com/dda-boot-camp-enrollment1 Hope to see you in there!
