Karakoram is a rock band, the vocalist was sherry khattak.
Talha Anjum is part of young stunners hip-hop duo band (Talha Younis the other one)
Faris shafi is a solo hip-hop artist an incredible rapper.
They all collaborated for this one song, this is a Pakistani show and not and Indian show.
This is a Pakistani show, Coke studio.
This is Not Indian music.
This is Pure Pakistani music.
Pakistani music has A lot of versatility.
The raags which both indian and pakistani artists sing are from "Hindustani Classical music " which is way way way older than pakistan and most of the countries 😊 (almost 5-6k years old)

@@swapnilwahi9854 Hindustan was never a country it was a region. Which was the name given by the invaders. It was derived from Sindh which somehow got spoiled and changed into Hind. The outsiders would call people of indus valley Sindhu and then Hindu. After a while the whole region with different cultures, religions, governments, states, kings and Rajas started to be called as hindustan. It was never a country mind you. It was always a region of South Asia. Do not teach me half history.

And I can't expect anything good from the people who belongs to "religion of peace" which such a brutal history.

Pakistani new artists are doing awesome. Coke Studio season 14 in Pakistan is a Pandora box of awesome music.
I think I have watched your reaction of this song about 4 times already lol. I enjoyed your raw and genuine take on it and as I mentioned in my other comments before under other songs, I love how you don’t have any pretence about Pakistani music from the get go. You are open to exploring it and enjoying it even though the lyrics can be too fast at times to comprehend.
So Karakoram is the band with the awesome vocalist Sherry Khattak (whose voice you loved), the amazing drummer Bilawal (the guy with the awesome, natural curls that every girl wishes to have hehe), and the great guitarists Zain, Annan and Omair. Then you had the 2 rappers with the crazy flow. The shorter height guy is Talha Anjum who is the same guy you saw as part of his duo group Young Stunners in the song Phir Milenge. While the other rapper who was mixing both English and Urdu together in his rap is Faris Shafi. You will see another good song of his with his sister Meesha Shafi in Muaziz Saarif (it’s another Season 14 song). Crazy talent in that family because their mom is a famous Pakistani actress too.
Fun fact: Karakoram was formed after Nescafé Basement days. Xulfi who is the music producer of Season 14 and one of the reasons behind its success actually created Nescafé Basement earlier. It was again a basement studio themed music show highlighting mixing of mostly older and some new songs by mostly underground, emerging new artists. They have a v famous song known as “Bol Hu” with million views + on CZcams. You will notice that Karakoram’s lead vocalist and drummer and the guitarist too was a part of that song. Basically, Xulfi brought all these emerging new young talent together through that show and then it resulted in creation of magic that later transcended into Coke Studio 14. These guys have not only done their songs but helped create magic in other Season 14 songs too.
Anyhow, that was it. Karakoram has had many awesome songs before like Kyun, Fanaa, Awaaz, Raasta, etc. (In case you would like to check them out later on..)😊
P.S. that scream/growl in the end lasted for 13 seconds btw 🤘😊.

Check out Kyun , same band but collaboration with someone else. That song has subtitles as well. The band itself is amazing. I am born and raised in the US , grew up in late 90# and early 2000. Didn't speak a lick of my mother tongue, Urdu. I found Pakistani rock music and it pulled me in. Karakoram is an awesome band though unfortunately they don't put subtitles on all songs...happy to help translate anything (as I do it myself for myself)

For your information, this kind of music can be called Indian music, because the fundamentals/Ragas/styles are the same, in the entire South Asia, which includes India Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, etc. But this song is from Coke Studio Pakistan, and the artists are from Pakistan, like your last song by Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a Pakistani living legend. Even though these countries from South Asia, basically have the same Indian music, but they have their unique flavors and focus on certain genres. When you experience more music from that region, you will find out what I mean. Pakistan enjoys and focuses more on the following flavor of music: Semi classic, Folk, Ghazal, Sufi/Spiritual, Qawwali, Sargam, and Rhythmic, etc
