Little Giant M26 Leveler | Features and Benefits
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 12. 08. 2024
- đ In todays video I want to go over the functionality of the Little Giant M26! This is a 26 foot ladder that has multiple configurations to use and it's also very easy to store and transport! This is the largest little giant that is available and with that, it has a few unique features. First is the ability to roll the ladder so you don't have to carry it all the time. It also has the leveler retractable posts to make the ladder level on uneven surfaces!
This little giant ladder is roughly seven feet tall collapsed which is also the lowest "A-frame" position too. From there you can go foot by foot up to around fourteen feet or so with the "a-frame" position!
This little giant ladder is also an extension ladder. So with it in the shortest position, it's around fourteen feet. From there, you can go up foot by foot to 26 feet!
You can also use this little giant ladder on angles and have one side of the ladder taller than the other, depending on the situation and surfaces.
You can also have two people on the ladder, or use both sides to not have to move the ladder as much!
This is a heavy ladder, but it's pretty manageable to use with just one person! And for the price, it was hard to beat buying a normal extension ladder, when this is easier to store, has multiple configurations, and can also be used inside when needed.

The wheels go up in extension mode. That way the tool box is under a rung and you won't step on it. Levelers to the ground that way too.
Yeah, the levelers go on the ground. I showed that..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Both times that you had the ladder in the extension ladder config, You had the wheels on the ground. That's unsafe, It's best to have the wheels on the top.
@@RhysLoaney obviously I was focused on filming and talking to show everything. It like I said and actually showed in the beginning of the video, the wheels and levelers go on the ground..
Thank you! Have the same ladder, love it.
Great! Glad you enjoy it!
Super flexible. Makes sense with your two story house.
Itâs very helpful for sure!
Great video. Thanks man
Glad you liked it!
Little Giants are great ladders đđ
Oh yeah!
Thank you
Great video.
Thanks!
Awesome ladder, we have one!
Very cool! Itâs great!
Do you know of a good standoff that can also be used to hook to the roof just over the gutters? I was looking at the EPIC ladder version but it can't be retrofit to the M26 leveler. They have another little giant standoff but it's feet aren't really meant to rest on the roof.
The Epic model by Little Giant is a good and versatile ladder with extra features.
Cool, Iâm sure itâs another good option. Iâm happy with this one.
This was an interesting demo. I have the Harbor Freight version of this ladder, so it can do *most* of what you showed here...
Cool, they are all probably similar.
Will they be coming out with a fiberglass version this way it could be lighter?
No idea!
Perhaps the Wife will be assigning various altitude inclined chores. Be safe.
lol, itâll come in handy!
They are great but exceedingly fragile. I bought and returned 2 before finding one that wasnât damaged. Definitely keep your receipt and fully extended it in the parking lot before leaving the point of sale.
Oh good points. Mine seems to be in good shape and every part works
Did a good doing this alone except that when raised the full height the leveling legs are supposed to be on the ground, not on the wall.
Yeah, I didnât realize that at the time.
Itâs very sketchy when doing the full extension and Iâm a big guy
Any ladder at full extension can have that feeling, especially high up.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I meant trying to get it up when itâs full extension. Itâs heavy
Ladder itself is sturdy
@@Andre-lr7ri it is heavy!
@@Andre-lr7ri yeah.
The wheels should be on the top and not on the ground
I never see anyone climb up to the top of the ladder when extended đ€
Well thatâs what itâs designed to do..
Shop around and see what the competition sells for.
I did, canât beat this for the price..
That is the most dangerous ladder I have ever worked with.
Why? Works great and I trust it!
â@@BrosFOURRSpeed It is a real bear in the fully extended mode and not possible to use in some locations where a regular extension ladder can be used. I am 65 and have a real tough time with it in fully extended mode.. I'm not going to do that again. And it wobbles a lot. An extension ladder is much easier to get up there with the rope pull. If there is a tree in the way of putting up the fully extended ladder the way they show how to use it, forget it. A regular extension ladder with the rope pull would do that job easily at my house. I also have shrubbery, central air unit, etc in the way of putting the little giant against the house to lift it, but those things do not get in the way with regular extension ladder. You are warned. I wish someone would have warned me. I love it on painting along stair ways of course.
@@martinmengel any extension ladder in the full position is hard and heavy. Thatâs not specific to this one ladder. It weights a bit more, but I have a 30ft extension ladder thatâs just as hard to use fully extended..I donât agree with any of that, but use what you are comfortable with.
I can easily extend the ladder and then raise it up. Branches, etc would get in the way of any ladder if positioned wrong..
I feel way more confident in this ladder with the wide base, much more sturdy and doesnât wobble at all.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Like everything, both have advantages and disadvantages. I have an extension ladder and know its heavy. But I find it safer for working up high and getting the ladder into position, and easier to work with for high work in areas where the little giant ladder can't be placed safely. That walking back hand over hand is hard for me (it freaked wears me out). I'm not weak at 65 years old,, but would be easier if I was 30-years younger. In some specific cases it is impossible to use where I can safely use my extension ladder. I like your video though.
@@martinmengel what areas are you meaning about the normal extension ladder being safer? They are nearly identical so Iâm confused on that.
what the?
I thought it was a good presentation.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed okay
@@BrosFOURRSpeed So did I. Thanks for explanation and demo!
The leveler should be on the ground in order it should be level. The wheel should at the roofline not on the grass when extended straight up. You were too focused on in doing the video and forget to mention the safety part
I showed that part in the beginning of the video. But yeah didnât notice that later in the video..
@@BrosFOURRSpeed
Are you still please with the ladder?
@@xrpxtrariceplease2811 oh yeah! Definitely has come in handy.
@@xrpxtrariceplease2811 I am not. Its too hard or impossible to use fully extended. Old fashioned extension ladder easier to use and will get in more locations if trees, air conditioning unit, etc around.
the most awkward review ever
How so?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed forget about ti
I slapped my forehead when I saw you fully extend it laying on the ground. Thatâs not how you use this ladder at all. You use your muscles to pull up on it
@@tommykittle2432 work smarter, not harderâŠdo it the way you wantâŠthis makes it so much easierâŠyou can do it however you want..
Also when the extension ladder is in the shortest position, youâd have to be well over 6ft tall to extend the upper half, so..
@@BrosFOURRSpeedI got this exact ladder after your review, cheers! It was easier getting it up than bringing it down for me đ
