Η χώρα των λησμονημένων τραγουδιών είναι ένα ντοκιμαντέρ που δημιουργήθηκε μέσω μιας συλλογικής δημιουργικής συνεργασίας μεταξύ του Deep Forest Foundation και των ιθαγενών κοινοτήτων του δάσους του Αμαζονίου. Καταγράφει σημαντικές στιγμές από τη ζωή των Kaxinawa Huni Kuin, Awa, Kayapo, Matis, Enawene Nawe και Shipibo, οι οποίοι ζουν δίπλα σε πλατιά ποτάμια και τεράστια δέντρα. Με επαναλαμβανόμενο μοτίβο έναν αρχαίο μύθο, βυθιζόμαστε στον πολιτισμό τους, στο κοσμολογικό τους όραμα και στην καθημερινή τους ζωή, ενώ συνδέουμε το παρελθόν και το παρόν τους μέσα από σπάνιο φωτογραφικό αρχειακό υλικό του 20ού αιώνα.

The Land of Forgotten Songs is a documentary film project created through a collective creative collaboration between the Deep Forest Foundation and the indigenous communities of the Amazon forest. It captures key moments in the lives of the Kaxinawa Huni Kuin, Awa, Kayapo, Matis, Enawene Nawe and Shipibo, all of whom live by the side of wide rivers and massive trees. With an ancient myth as a recurring motif, we are immersed in their culture, cosmological vision and everyday life, while connecting their past and present through rare 20th century photographic archival material.
