Dieser Sound der SWR Big Band bereichert unheimlich unsere Kulturszene. Hoffentlich bleibt uns diese Band noch lange erhalten. Ein solch hervorragendes Zusammenspiel ist für den bewussten Hörer immer wieder ein Erlebnis.

My drum & bugle corps, the Archer-Epler Musketeers, played an arrangement (on G Bugles) based on this Sammy Nestico treatment ... Red Winzer arranged it for us in 1984 ... it was the BEST arrangement that the Musketeers played during the corps' return to the competition field from 1981 through 1984, and it remains at the heart of my best Musketeer moments.
I an so thankful that Red Winzer saw fit to give us the chance to play this great tune.
