Wait, 3.8 GPA? Damn, Bao’s a whole point smarter than I was in college. Or at least way less lazy, that was a bit more of an issue.
It's all about laziness. I went through undergrad with a 2.9 because I didn't do my work properly. I just finished grad school with a 4.0 because I put in the effort. School is effort, not brains. Brains make you learn things a little faster, but college and grad school is about finishing projects and papers in a reasonable time instead of just learning facts. Diligence and good school habits matter more than raw brain power.
I feel like alot of smart people are lazy.
