shadow pinion is a fun weapon, so satisfying watching it clear an entire half of the screen, it just falls off so so hard even mid game, on top of that you play these sort of survival arena games to not put that much effort in >

it is very tedious lol but it looks so satisfying. i guess its because im watching a video of it not putting in any effort it looks really cool 😂 i do agree with you want it to be like autopilot lol and this you constantly have to manage it

I do agree that shadow pinion is weak as toast, but it is satisfying to move and shoot, especially with controller and mouse. Unlike keyboard those two allow you to shoot in any direction.
The burner would be a nice experiment, for one it is massively better than the pinion, but it also works with heart of fire AND it shoots out further instead of staying on the ground.
It’s op wdym i used it with knives and i was able to evolve both in 5 minutes
as a character, i love everything she has so much, the design, the weapon is unique, and her passive is insane - since it scales forever unlike most passives
only wish she started with something better, with holy water she'd be the best character
i agree with the video, its not that its a bad weapon, is just an ill fitting one for the gmae - kinda wish it auto-attacked every 0.3s or something once youre maxed, with the direction being random
Honestly, I enjoy shadow pinion a lot (evo does make it a lot better for just walking, making a circle and not bothering with the micro), but it was the weapon that kinda carried my first Toastie reaper kill run (pre eggs n all)
Awake is annoying. It makes people want to get Tiragisu to maximize the effect, then get rid of Tiragisu, THEN get another passive weapon, and THEN FINALLY start picking up the passive weapons present on the map! It MASSIVELY slows down the game - but perhaps most importantly, it incentivises dying. Literally what every single gamer instinct tells you NOT to do :P And sometimes, if you end up too strong somehow, you end up not being able to die and all your plans are ruined :P
Plus with the new arcanas, Awake is simply boring. Just collect more eggs, you get the same effects.
With the addition of Wicked Season and builds enjoying Bugaloo of Illusions or Silent Old Sanctuary (or both), I don't even feel like the whole long winded Awake cheese is worth it. I never liked how time consuming it was because it delays your build, and then delays your item pickups, and eats all your revives.
I get so ridiculous on the back of Wicked Season (IF my character and build can survive the start, high risk high reward) in ways that laugh at Awake's paltry stats. It gets to the point where the game gets laggy as though I had 2000 eggs despite having 0 eggs.
Did you decide against Twillight Requiem, the Arcana that would create explosions when shadow pinion expires, or did you forget about it? :p Would've been great offensively and defensively imo
I tried it out and it was good, but I didn't manage to survive full curse with it early on, so I ignored it
Boogaloo was for the Area which I definitely wanted to have as a meme for ginormous size, SOS was necessary for the damage boost to kill bosses fast enough (they were literally the only problem, the rest died when I stood still) and I chose Awake only because I STILL kept dying despite the 100% damage boost from SOS (against some bosses)
Twilight Requiem was nice, but if you compare it to SOS it at least for me performed worse, and the last Arcana was a choice to survive, that I don't lose another run to a random boss

it's kinda sad that one of the more creative and fun in its own right weapons isn't that viable but it is what it is
Gotta say I love thousand edge the huge amount of projectiles going in one direction are so nice for killing bosses and it clears where you are trying to walk so gotta say it’s prob my 2nd favorite weapon in the game

I like the shadow pinion because it feels fun and satisfying to use. I dont know that its underpowered compared to everything possible in the game, but from my playing (only like 10-12 hours) it feels pretty good. I'd have to do that then like a bird/clock run or something to compare.
Just got into Vampire Survivors and this is the coolest weapon. I am proud to declare myself the 4th ever fan of this weapon!
Good or not, I find pinion very fun. With cooldown and amount you can get a lot stacked up and do crazy single target damage or spread them out and hit whole crowds

hey its been four months but a quick thing about the word notorious, it's pretty much another word for infamous, and or its popular/well known but with a negative connotation to it. like gambling or gamblers, those 2 words are notorious for being associated with greedy people or being an action the greedy use, and or not popular in any good ways. another example that could work would be murder, this one has pretty much no positive way to talk about it and the people who commit it become notorious if they kill enough, like Jack the ripper or Ted Bundy who are notorious murderers.
Weakest weapon on its own? I'd say Vento Sacro. Unless they buffed it, I haven't really tried it alone since it got introduced. But you can barely hit enemies with it without being hurt yourself, and at max level it dealt like 10 damage per tick and it still felt like you were tickling enemies.
Now of course, the weapon alone is not meant to be that great since you unite it into Fuwalafuwaloo, but still
His weapon is the worst but his area per level increase passive is OP
I beat my first Capella Magna run with this weapon and boy was it a struggle. I couldn't kill a thing for like half the level or more, the reaper boss took like 10 minutes after I barely survived.
I think this sounds like a call to do a Knife limit break run

Inspired by your stuff, I managed to limit break Carello recently. Don't get me wrong, the process is painful. I needed to take Awake for the raw survival factor, an empty weapon slot so I could grab Laurel to handle exploders, and several attempts... but eventually I managed to do it. The results are more satisfying to watch than you'd think, as the carts get about as big as the screen. Tragic Princess and Silent Old Sanctuary pair well for maximum madness. You can probably also play it better than me, which would allow you to substitute one or both bounce arcana in, since the weapon doesn't really need any damage bonuses to clear everything it hits, it just needs all the cooldown reduction so it fires fast enough to protect you.
Unfortunately, the weapon is broken with limit break in a bad way. When I tried it out, it got so large that the carts would break way too fast and I'd end up with no more carts on the screen for a bit. (this was on a character with a bunch of eggs)
Gorgeous Moon is another weapon that is buggy with limit break. It's supposed to use it again each time it gets a level, but at some point after so many levels it stops doing that and even makes the cooldown longer than it normally would be without limit break.

Well Im trying my own gold farming and i think i found how im gonna farm and have the game in the background while I play other game... Well Missigno with 90+ CD + Laurel and the newer arcana that give more greed... Well just couldnt get Mad groove as last arcana so... Time for even more insane Area....
Edit: Well level 500+ with limit break and I think Im shooting 4 projectiles at a time...
30min+ 1M Gold level 897... if only I had mad groove I would be able to farm faster... I guess Im gonna restart xD
I personally like it a lot along with flowers you can make a really cool mine dropper build also if you have the negative 100% weapon speed you can start throwing other weapons into that building and just Sonic the hedgehog everything.
I just unlocked Silent Old Sanctuary and ive been trying it on every character. My favorite so far is Scorej-Oni
Was it buffed recently? I’ve found this weapon is incredible and can 1 shot enemies toward the end of runs without limit break.
When I did guardian farming this was actually the strongest weapon after cats
Shadow Pinion would be a lot more interesting if it weren’t so goddamn exhausting
I personally think Fire Wand is the worst. Maybe that and the bird weapons. And it's kinda sad that Arca's my favorite character skin.
I broke Gorgeous Moon lol - it was the only weapon (went Christina with the arcana that explodes when you get damaged so I could level) and after a bit it literally just stopped triggering when I got +1 amount lol
If you walk into a wall while the guardian is behind you you will do insane damage to it, you should try it
It's a fun weapon but as a beginner I find it really hard to use.

I WANT to like the weapon because it has a cool name, original features & its based on the assassin cone snail one of my favorite snails. However my wrists just get REKT from playing on a keyboard

I think the worst weapon will unevolved pentagram like i kills stuff the you wait like 20secs with is enough for enemies to obliterate you, at that point id pick... (cant believed im saying this) id pick shadow pinion over unevolved pentagram at least il will do something every time rather than kills alot of stuff every 15sec to 1min.
In addition to being fiddly and hard to use consistently, shadow pinion just doesn't make sense as a weapon - what is it? It looks like a drill that follows you around and then doesn't do anything until you stop moving, then spits out a line of damage? What even is that? I like the character model - who doesn't like a winged vampire with an electric guitar? But I feel like they could have made a better weapon for her.
It makes sense because it's a game. A game set in a laconically described fantasy world.

Worst weapon... i'd say Celestial Dusting, it literally sucks XD Next would maybe be the falling furniture for me, all it does it is ends up not being able to reach down the screen because the projectiles can't get through the enemies above you. Carello is just... bad. But at least you can kinda try making it work, on certain maps i guess? From among the standard weapons though, the BIRDS just suck ass, they don't hit anything and they take too long to upgrade them... but they get kinda good when combined into Vandalier, so it's not THAT bad, at least you're building up to something better.
Vandalier is hella good. La Robba is also the best weapon you can buy from Trouser. Actually, I've had a number of runs where La Robba out damaged some of my evolved weapons like No Future. The cartwheels and bouquet suck ass though.

just trigger the guardians early and u can prob kill them in like 2 bursts with the weapon, does so much dmg to bosses

Though I forego the 50% base Curse because I don't want to reset all my powerups to turn it back off with worse starting weapons. >_
@@DexTag And died at 19:30 twice to a guardian I couldn't see during a Super Curse phase because of my giant drills. >_<

Does amount have any effect on this weapon?
to me its a shame this character has this weapon, i like a lot the area effect of the character but the weapon is only really useful at the begining
if you ask me knife is a begginers weapon but good for begginers
I really wanted this weapon to be amazing, because drills are cool, but it sucked hard.
Make a only moon Evolution limit brake pls :)
The issue is that moon breaks. Literally. It only continues giving gold at one point, which means you can't get constant blast offs, which means spam waves will get and kill you. I did it twice but each time it broke and I lost the motivation for it, especially since I have no knowledge of it not still breaking
Maybe I can take a look at the code and see if they have a max amount set to them, then I could remove that and it would continue forever
Worst weapon in my opinion hmmmm. honestly i think Whip is one of the worst because it doesnt really save you in any way. I wouldnt be suprised if limit breaking it wouldnt even go to the 30 minute mark. It only shoots where u look at which is why it is so trash for me.

This was a great reminder that I wanted to do cart as limit break. But I gotta be honest, I don't know if I would rather want to have cart or knifes. Cart is a bit like knifes but goes into 2 directions, at least if you don't want to play manually
@@DexTag Yeah, both are pretty bad... but at least knife can be useful sometimes, like for clearing a path while walking to get items. Especially with a controller. But for cart, I can't really think of a situation where it's actually useful. Maybe with extra area and -100 speed, it could act as a shield?
I think the weapon is pretty good... but not as a solo weapon. It's way too gimmicky to be a good solo weapon.
Omg the 5:55 thing was a joke? This explains why you weren't going for the guaranteed penta chest in your challenge runs when it would have been very useful.

Knifes/Thousand Edges are great but only with slash arcana which gives freaking 50% chances to deal x6 damage, thats insane. Literally x3 to DPS
6x damage is great, but only if you didn't already one shot the enemy, as in if the enemy got 50 HP and already deal 100, then 6x damage does nothing. But overall it's solid. The issue with it though is that it's still only one direction and you gotta turn around like crazy to hit the enemies, with keyboard this means only 8 directions
