I always afraid of trying new things... but when I got the chance to sing a group song in my college function.. as everyone can guess I just immediately refused it... but then after watching my frnds on the stage... I was like why didn't I gave it a chance... though my voice is broken just like hail I'm gonna definitely try it if I ever get a chance....

Being a Guitar Instructor, I would suggest that you never go to learn Chords directly, start practicing exercises, lead songs and scales to make your fingers comfortable, then go for chords.

But I can play chords and sing songs. And also I can play guitar solos. Ofcourse I did finger exercises later on. But definitely not in the initial month. Different approaches can work.
I can remember my beginner struggle, and my goodness was it tough. If you decide to stick with the instrument though, it will be WELL worth it down the line. As a guitar player of 5 years, going on 6, it is very fulfilling and satisfying when you get to that point where you can just pick up the instrument and start playing and messing around on the instrument. I am currently learning Spanish Caravan by The Doors btw, its an awesome song with a very fun strumming pattern which I think is called a rasgueado.

This narrative is somewhat similar to my own experience. When I was in school, I purchased my first guitar, but due to my focus on science, I had very little time to actually play it. However, after two years, I enrolled in college and decided to embark on my guitar learning journey. Just like you portrayed, it was a challenging process. Nevertheless, I persisted and now I am able to play much better. Although I am still a beginner, I acknowledge the need to learn and practice extensively in order to improve further 😄

You did pretty good , you can be a good guitarist 👏🏼👏🏼 issue is not with you but with guitar. This guitar is tough to play along with the strings that come along with it (I had the same model). And this is a very outdated guitar. These days so many good options are available in 8-15k range . Buy one of those and you will be amazed to see how fast you learn.

The thing is it's not always that u can master chords in days it takes weeks and weeks . Changing from one chord to another and maintain strumming pattern is a bit tricky. Not that easy to master guitar . But patience and hardwork and make u come through all of this . Evn i have started playing guitar from some months not easy but the hardwork is perfectly worth it

Be patient, ive been playing guitar from 4 years, and the journey has many mistakes, from which you ought to learn. Also, the fingers get used to the pain and tissues adapt according to the guitar.

As a normal guitarist, I would suggest you to get/use pick (you can get them online or in any instruments shop) so your fingers won't hurt

Not that easy to master guitar . But patience and hardwork and make u come through all of this . Evn i have started playing guitar from some months not easy but the hardwork is perfectly worth it

Same here, I also bought one. Found difficult to play and left it. Beech beech mai kabhi kabhi play kar leta tha & I also have some basic knowledge of chords strumming and tuning 😂
Tip: don't put alot of pressure while pressing the chords
Be patient, ive been playing guitar from 4 years, and the journey has many mistakes, from which you ought to learn. Also, the fingers get used to the pain and tissues adapt according to the guitar.

You are lucky that you've got guidance. I also wanted to learn guitar from a professional/teacher but since none in my family has any interest in music so I had to learn it by myself
Don't worry, the finger pain goes away pretty soon. You develop callouses which make it pretty easy.
As someone who play guitar, I can tell that you have a long way to go.

Playing guitar from 6 yrs and she learn it in just four days...amazing..
I learned guitar 14 years back in college & played 2 years then..... now occassionaly play once a month..... and I think still plenty to learn ..... a plenty.... music is an endless ocean.
Keep trying you will get it you do have a good voice
