Dude, thank you so much for showing those figures I made. Those bendy wire tails are always a nightmare to paint, but still, I'm so glad you like them . Parts of this review played like a horror film for collectors as more and more of the in-box damage was revealed. Terrifying

To be fair, this is EVERY Hasbro product. That it's such a rare experience with NECA is pretty nice.

It is a more realistic line, which does make it a little more acceptable ig... I usually display mine without wings or with the clasped wings, but these guys don't have any reason to ever have clasped wings so idk. At least they do fold down?
Yeah, I’m glad they have more range by default. Just bummed how scuffed they are 😢
Mine has similar scuffing. Original plan was to get two to flank Xanatos but I think I’ll stick to one. I’m gonna get the red one too. Not very intimidating I know but it’s enough.

My bro was telling me that current Neca Boxes are coming with stickers or labels reminding buyers that Neca figures are NOT toys, I have yet to see this myself, can anyone confirm this please?
That's definitely something Super7 puts on their boxes. NECA says 14 and up, but that's normal.

Damn, I would just be so freakin' bummed after watching your (albiet very informative & honest) review. If I was her, I'd just tell you to keep it; but you don't want this thing takin' up precious space lol.

Have you thought about getting that FuRay Planet Veteran Williams werewolf figure? Now I hardly ever deviate from established franchises that are nostalgic to me (cause you know, I don't have unlimited money in space), but wowza!; this isn't just the best werewolf figure ever, it might be the best figure of 2023.

It’s not a one off seen a couple other people that had scuffed wings. Think Toy Shiz and Anthonys Customs so noted the scuffed wings

Bro this was one of my favorite shows growing up besides mummies alive and street sharks I was addicted to both of those shows. It has taken a lot for me not to buy all these figures I just wish they gave closed wings with each figure the Open wings is just to much room. Man i I wish someone would make mummies alive and street sharks figures man that would be unreal.
It’s a great line when they aren’t beat up like this one. And if your DO get all of them then you’ll have the closed wings options. I don’t know why they sold them with different characters

With the off-putting realism, is this the first Gargoyles figure you've reviewed? Could've swore you've reviewed some already. Another NECA line I've unfortunately become an unintentional completist with, cause they just look that damn beautiful. Totally passing on this one though. Anywho, I would've much preferred straight cartoon accuracy over the comic booky realistic look they went with. The detail is amazing, but on-model nice smooth simplistic bodies with no shading would've been preferred. Guessing they went the route they did to capture a larger audience instead of just the die hard OG fans. And funny thing is, I've never even seen a full episode (was like a year or two too old when it came out), but I know it's a damn good show.
I did the Sega version previously.
The joke sucked (timing/punchline) - but the after effects were hysterical;)

It’s awful!
I have the such severe buyers remorse from these Gargoyles figures. I took them out of the box they instantly got loose from one pose, three of them broke just from moving them and they pose for shit. . They look good in a box, but don't take them out. NECA is not that great.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed LOL. To me those scuffs look like the paint was marred when the wings closed for the first time. Maybe it was caught and they were opened, but the paint wasn’t fixed. Hatter’s Zanatos wings didn’t look like that.
