Thanks! The Cruzbike is more comfortable as well as faster. The upright is more social if you're going to be riding with others. And recumbents aren't as fun when it's very hilly. PBP is OK. I took the upright this time simply because of the added challenge. When I finished in 2019, I was still in awe of all the upright riders 🙂 Now that I know I can ride uprights as well, I'm back to doing a long event on the Cruzbike this summer.
@@TorHovland Thank you so much for responding so quickly! That’s very illuminating. I look forward to seeing more fabulous videos this year and all the best for your next excursion!
@@leonardogoulandris1676 It was considerably easier on the Cruzbike. I was seven hours faster. But it depends on the course. If the hills had been longer or steeper, the Cruzbike wouldn't have the same advantage.
ok, but we are talking only about the pbp. You did it 7 hours less with the cruzbike. Normal bike vs the cruzbike on the same course. I am asking because I am thinking of buying a S40. I have already a road bike.
Having done everyone since 1975,I appreciate what you went through, my last one will be 2027, I will be 70 …
Thanks for this footage!
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to record your journey for us all to see.
It was great to see PBP2023 again! :) I was in L group as well
Another excellent video of what PBP can be. Next time join the vedettes and there will be a lot less queuing for food.
Tor, I loved your 2019 video on a Cruzbike, this one is even better. What fun!
No way I could do that , not now, maybe I could have tried 30 years ago. Regret and also relief. You have my respect.
😂😂 2:49 it's me in the white Jersey
That's cool!
Great work and congratulations on finishing. I think I will do PBP again in 2027
Great video as always. I’m interested to know your thoughts on this ride compared to 2019 when you were on a Cruzbike. Which did you prefer?

why you didn't use the V20 for the PBP?
Because I already did that in 2019.
which was easiest? the normal bike or the recumbent?
