    Decimation is the digital version of taking a SWAG of the bit(s) between the bits of the sample. If it adds 1 bit, the frequency is doubled. 2 bits, it is doubled twice, and 3 bits, it is doubled 3 times, etc. It is a rather simple code. No slight intended.

    hi sometimes we have a rf signal that it's not repeatitive like a sound wave how can we downconvert this signals to sampling with low sample rate analog to digital converters? is there any way?

    Extremely confusing, this video needs a major haul. When discussing JESD204B data converter, it says "Interpolation must be used to reduce the data rate", I hate it.

    You start the video by explaining the differences between sample rate and data rate...and then in later slides you use the terms in conflict with the words on the slides, which is confusing.
