If you are actually holding proper form and performing the exercises correctly, these workouts are incredibly intense to the point your body will involuntarily vibrate while holding poses/pulsing. I am a very active, slim, athletic, tall, and young woman. I hover between 12 and 14% body fat, so I’m not some big fatty here who doesn’t workout saying these workouts are difficult. They are, but they are only as difficult as the effort we choose to give.

Oh no doubt the exercises aren't super easy but the environment/sequencing is definitely not as intense as I've been accustomed to. A calmer option for sure!

😅 geez what a uneeded comment, she her experience and said its similar to at home workouts (which ABSOLUTELY has their benefits as well)

You seem to be a rude individual who has no sense of decency. What was the need to say ‘I’m no fatty’, that was unnecessary. Pilates start off easy, you start off slow movements, stretches and you ease into it. Once the form has been adjusted and the movements are easier, more reps are added and of course the more reps, the more intense the workout.
No need to add your weight etc because no one cares for that.

A lot of beginners in barre find it hard. Even those who have worked out or are fit, it’s because maybe they never targeted the muscle groups in that way but I’ve heard barre is humbling to people when those who attend the gym or take part in sports.

The one time I tried the class, I was so sore the next day that I COULD NOT GO UPSTAIRS WITHOUT WALKING UP AND DOWN BACKWARDS.
This lasted 4 days I was so weak

Do you know how much per month? I might try the intro class but not worth the drive if its something I cannot afford.

I was paying around $300 but I know they have different packages you can buy. Just be careful after I quit they kept charging my card; but that could just be a location issue. Hope this helps!
