The always-innovative Driftmoon project (made of Abora's A&R Manager Juraj Klicka & Miikka Leinonen), trance-legend Geert Huinink, & breathtaking soprano vocalist Kim have created this spectacular piece. Prepare to be taken away!
The instrumentals throughout the main parts of the piece, including the climax, are both incredibly danceable and also incredibly peaceful and calming. This is a piece that will make you close your eyes and move to the beat in a state of peace & contentment. Even just sitting in your chair at your computer you can't help but instinctively move to the music.
In the Orchestral Mix, the breakdown begins eerily with choral chanting, and then Kim enters the track. What can we say? Her vocals are just absolutely spectacular and unforgettable. You will feel transported to a heavenly realm. Goosebumps are guaranteed!
The Intro Mix is a perfect way to begin a set. The breakdown, climax, and outro are the same as in the Orchestral Mix, but the Intro Mix also has an additional section of orchestra, choral chanting, and vocals to start the piece.
The Original Mix omits the lyrics and also shortens the breakdown, and is thus the dub mix of the release.
In all, Worlds Which Break Us is a truly beautiful, inspiring, peaceful, uplifting, and danceable track that is a work of art. I'm usually too lazy to leave a comment, but I've been listening to this song since it was released and I'm seriously astounded with shivers all over the skin whenever this song pops in my playlist. As much as I love the classical, orchestral and trance genre, this tune really brings the meaning of Trance genre to another level beyond perfection as it brings all my favorite style of mysic into one perfect song. All the instrumental and chanting parts with the upbeat sections which are perfectly introduced when it's their time, it's just something wonderful I can't describe...
It's still in my top tracks and it will probably stay for long. Lot of trance songs are good, but they also tend to be repetitive and, at some point, tiring. Worlds Which Break Us differs from most other trance tracks by taking a different direction, with different melodies at each part of the song.
If many uplifting trance tracks could be similar to this song, I bet the genre would lead in the electro world. I hope to see this takes the lead one day. :(
