Is it possible to appeal the strike? Presumably an actual human at YT will see the silliness and unfairness of the penalty. Always nice to hear more Séverac. Started playing Stances a Madame de Pompadour the day before yesterday as a result of yr. upload. Loved his music since singing his Tantum Ergo as a boy treble.
Yes I did that. The thing is though, that there are millions of laws and I needed to basically sign up with my name for not crossing anything that exists. I dont need any of that honestly after 700 or whatever videos of me playing forgotten music.
The stances are nice, and I am planning to do some other videos as well in near future.

Is this first your strike (one of three ctitical strikes)? Many great YT pianist has srtikes sometimes. But they doing appeal and winning process. If you right you no need to afraid.
@@a.plekhanov it's the first yes. I know i am right. I can't have copyright on the audio. The audio was played and generated by me on my PC as result of a midi file of my own playing. I can't see a reason for some company to throw a name at me of some pianist who at some point also played the music on some CD and to throw a strike at me.
It seems like it's not a copyright strike. I read the help page and it sounded like it is, but it is written on my channel info that I have 0 strikes. Thankfully!
@@PianoScoreVids Good news! You can safely continue to please us with new unknown music :)
Where I can find sheet music?
On imslp - on his page you go to "en vacances" and then it's the first volume
I hope it was not on a Severac's video... Anyway, I think sometimes they are automatic or they come from musical majors or... the music owners themselves!
Nah it was not on Severac video. I got it from a company and the name of some pianist was written also. I mean, i think i did a great recording and so they presumably confused me with a professional pianist, but still, that's not the way I want to see my work being appreciated (that is, by instantly being taken down)
I once had a copyright claim on 30 seconds of silence between movements of a multi-movement composition I uploaded.
... it's very stupid.
@@PianoScoreVids It's a poorly-designed algorithm from our perspective as content creators, but it serves CZcams's multinational corporate masters well. By the way, have you taken any further look at my Piano Works, which I had sent you some time ago? Of course, they pose a myriad of technical challenges ...
Thanks for reminding me on this. I hope I find time to have a closer look on it soon.
