The Honda PCX 125 is limited in speed. We cant go over it. The maximun speed is about 108 km/h. You can change all you want even a Costa Variator but velocity would be always the same. The only thing we can do for change it is to take out the limitation and that is the dead of the engine because the revolutions go free and tehe engine brokes. Do that you want...is your money and your motorbike.
Honda says current top speed is (in 2018 model) 63 mph - or 102 kph - absolute maximum in ideal conditions. A different variator will not create a better top speed. It can only change the acceleration band before top speed, unless there are other tweaks. It is impossible for the standard PCX to achieve 125 kph without the wind behind AND downhill. The speedometer is also 10% fast in most PCXs, so "125 kph" here must be reduced by 12 kph and now you have 112 kph, but there must be a favourable wind and downhill slope. The real speed achievable in normal conditions and solo rider sitting normally is 105-108 maximum. With bigger screen, pannier luggage or passenger more like 88-95 kph.

PCX is limited by rpm. If you install another vario the rpm will be lower for the same speed. So the engine isn't limited! Can do more than 108 for the first generation of pcx. Mine its the 2nd gen and stock it did 118 and with JCosta vario 132!

This Scooter is the best. I will buy my Scooter next year. This is awesome. I will try to buy a new one with a special vario for more speed. nice Vid!

Ga ron tee the speedo reads at least 5% high, probably closer to 10%. They all do.
