I love how with 40K you think "ok it can't get much worse than this" and then BOOM: Psyker uprisings, bigger ork Waaghs, and just everything kind of exploding, literally and figuratively.
Question:
1) Is soul binding a thing in the actual lore? Like the Emperor origins and if so could Vulkan's soul actually binded to Beast's?
2) Is it possible that Vulkan being half ork could lead a Waagh?) Is it even necessary to be an ork anyways to do so?

Kinda funny in an unfunny way how this would be a prime time to introduce a full and official traitor legion army to the game,but what little we had in the chapter approved is gone.
Honestly worried about the course gw is pushing the tau. It seems like they are going to make them zenophobic and and where they are rolled through pheromones or mind control or neither. I hope they stay the one "good" faction.
about time the baby food of lore that is the tau gets some spice, maybe now i wont have to be too shamed for liking them.
It's been pretty obvious from the start of the original Tau background that the Ethereals use pheremones or mind control. It was made explicit in the old Xenology background book too. The Vespid background is that they're controlled by mind control forced on them too, though I expect the Kroot are genuine allies. It's a bit sad the Tau are becoming xenomorphic but it's understandable if they see human allies becoming psychers or daemon possessed without understanding what's going on.
It doesnt make any sense though that a scientifically advanced and intellectual civilization like tau is upon looking at psychic horrors would just look at them and say "no thanks fuck off" instead trying to understand them.
@@void9764 I expect they would try and understand them but not be that successful. A significant daemon incursion can wipe out a planet and start from an out of control powerful psycher and there's not necessarily any in universe way to predict who will suddenly gain psychic powers. Psychic humans genuinely are dangerous to the Tau and the Tau's response is understandable.
