Buck is clearly a character that wants to love and settle down with one person, and I think Tommy could be a good match for that. I think Buck is more smitten than confident. He seems like walking on clouds. And his jealousy, his nervousness on the first date, his shy smile and his blushing when he mentioned Tommy's name... he's far from being confident. Which is a good thing. I've read a story about a father's advise to her daughter: If a man truly falls in love, he has to be a little unsure about himself.

I really hope episode 8 gives us more. Especially since this is only going to be a 10 episode season. 😞

The show seems to play a lot with framing and symbolism. When Eddie and Buck fight, they framed a column in the middle, so Bucks is on one side, Eddie is on the other. When Buck breaks up, the door closes. When Tommy arrives, the door opens.
May God forgive me, but I always suspicious about Jonathan & David's storyline. The promise that Jonathan made when he warned David about his father... And David was mourning so hard when he heard about Jonathan's death. He wrote a full psalm about it. He's never mentioned grieving that hard for any of his wives. The only other times he was mentioned grieving hard are when his sons dead. I might imagining things here but I just can't help it...
Just hope script writers don't over do the gay thing I E. Tizzy fits, drama queen crap, not all gay relationships are trizzy shit, and Eddie you missed out badly 😃😃😃😃

As a person who doesn't watch the series (just takes occasional peeks at how it's going), it's strange to see how quickly everyone jumped from Buck/Eddie to Buck/Tommy train. xD Also, personally, I find this romance rather "artificial", I just can't see how it came to this so suddenly, over the course of a couple of episodes. The plot looks like it was written by an AO3 author.
I shipped Eddie and Buck from the srart snd would still love to see something happen there. But Buck and Tommy look so happy together you can't look past that
