You're listening to the classical instrumental version of "Arirang", a wonderful piece of music from Korea. No singers, no chorus - just beautiful music. Enjoy! - Hudba

If the Soviet Union and America did not divide the Joseon Peninsula at the end of WW 2 the story of the Korean people may turn out differently, a happy one.
I never realised that variations on a Korean folk song was actually this song! Beautiful either way.

This version could have been used as the Theme for "Gone with the Wind" and any timeless Westerns of the 40s,50s and 60s. It is that Epic!

I'm looking for a North Korean song.. I don't remember the name, but they usually have it on karaoke. I think it's a love song from a North Korean movie. It sounds kind of sad, but it's really beautiful! Does anyone know which it might be??
DPheart have you found it?
Yes I did! It's called "심장에 남는 사람" / "A person who remains in the heart" (Or something like that)

Most probably spread to Korea thru the South Indian Tamil princes from Ay[uta] kingdom, who married Korean King Suro of Geumgwan Gaya and she later known as "Queen Heo Hwang-ok", whose history is mentioned in the 13th century Korean Chronicle Samguk Yusa. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heo_Hwang-ok )
