This guy is a force!!!! Came up as one of the popular guitar slingers of the day. But he’s so much more. Incredible songwriter and singer. His voice is sick. Just saw him last night and what you hear on the record is what you hear live. You’re crying Becusee it’s real music!!! Heart, soul and raw emotion.

I’ve watched that entire concert probably 10 11, 12 times? It just never gets old. No crazy light show or special effects, just three guys and their instruments. (Actually rented instruments, too expensive to fly a drum kit and amps over) Its one of the best rock shows ever recorded.

Kotzen is like a fusion between Chris Cornell(voice) Steve Vai(Virtuosism) and Prince (multiinstrumentalist), so creativity of those three. Even You can find in Ritchie SRV, Jeff Beck and so many musicians.I think RK is One of the most underrated artists today, I mean obviously he got so much recognition among his coleagues and music scene but he deserves billions of fans.

Richie Kotzen is the greatest talent I've been inspired by in all of music. I felt like I knew something that no one else knew when I first heard of him when I was listening to him. I'd crank his music loud with my boom box when I was in my youth. If people really dared listen to him especially his back catalog, they'd be blown away. Tilt, Greg Howe/Richie Kotzen project, Inner galactic fusion experience and even his self titled album really showcase this man's extraordinary ability. If you listen to those albums, you really might say to yourself, Has this man passed through some membrane of an alternate reality. Perhaps he has............perhaps he has.

I stumbled across Richie Kotzen we're looking for some new guitar stuff to watch and was blown away I cannot understand why I haven't heard from him before on mainstream radio he definitely deserves a spot at the top in both his vocals he can sing two different people high and low and he can play the hell out of the guitar along with the best

You have to check out Winery Dogs. Drummer is Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater); Kotson and the Great Billy Sheehan on bass. Incredible stuff. Kotson was in Poison for a short time when they axed their guitarist CC DeVille.

Went on a similar Richie Kotzen journey with my wife when I introduced him to her. Find the live version of Regret by The Winery Dogs for another great Richie Kotzen performance. More upbeat...showing his guitar playing, I'd recommend Fooled Again or 24 hours.

      @@AMusicianandaJerk I would recommend: -“Devil’s Hand” official video, from 50 for 50 album, 2020.
-“Fear” live, 2015 Tokyo, (from the “Into the black” album 2006).
“War Paint” 2015 Tokyo (The Essential Richie Kotzen, 2014)
and for a change of pace, official video for “MEDS” live (from the “Salting Earth” album 2017.)
I would also recommend The Winery Dogs:
-“Time Machine” live, (Unleashed in Japan, 2013)
-“The Dying” live, (Unleashed in Japan, 2013)
Interesting note on this concert video. They had only rehearsed a handful of times, and the concert was only the third concert they ever performed. You would have no idea baseed on the quality of performance.
