    Just wanted to say, I got myself the Q 18" crash. It sounds amazing, perfect for metal!

    Wow. Came across Zultan cymbals by accident with the dark series. They all sound great. These are my favourites though 👌

      @@EhItsYaBoi how are they on the durability side please? We have 3 drummers my church and we go through crashes too quick (the sabian xrs were barely a year old be for the 16 broke around the bell, the 18 broke too recently around the edge, and another higher end 16 sabian went recently, due to hard hitting (we have one known relatively hard hitter). Do you think this will stand a better chance? Shopping for a new set now

    I like these cymbals, they are bright, slightly dark and have good definition. All while looking good and being quite cheap. Seems I found my next set :)

      @@ZultanTheCymbalBrand I comment you this because I recorded with the rock beat series, but in the mix, the cymbals were extremely brilliant, so I'm looking for something brilliant, but more controlled. As I see in the video, the unpolished surface gives the cymbal that control that I'm looking for.

      @@franciscozarzosogil9075 Yes the Q Series offers exactly that: They are bright, but the unmilled parts of the cymbals offer a little bit of warmth and darkness + control to the sound and they are not as washy as the Rock Beats :)

    These Zultan Q cymbals are Turkish studio rebranded...which are similar, but not the same, to Istanbul Mehmet Onurhan (just listen to Istanbul hats, sound different, look identical).

    I'm about to buy my first set from zultan, and I'm really looking forward to this set, also the F5 is a possibility, I'm confused, I play heavy rock,. I really like the darkness in the cymbals, and will fix it to my type of playing drums.. Any suggestions?? I really appreciate that. Stay zultan

    • @ramsesvr2849
      @ramsesvr2849 Před 3 lety +3

      Why stick to a singel set? Pick the cymbals that you like and combine them.
      I'm working with 15" Meinl pure alloy hi-hats, 18" Meinl pure alloy crash (which i'm replacing with the 17"zultan dune crash), 19" Meinl byzance medium thin crash, 21" paste black big beat crashride and a 18" zultan raw china (which will become a 19" zultan heritage china).
      They are diffirent, but work great together, So don't limit on one sound. Take a look at what you like the sound of and make it interesting!

    • @ramsesvr2849
      @ramsesvr2849 Před 3 lety

      @Bubb I dig it! It's a nice china when you gif it some power. Quick response and quick fade. I'm not a fan of very bright cymbals, but even though it's raw, it still has some light tones. It's a nice addition to your sound, but I wanted my next China to be a little lower. All my cymbals are a little bigger, so sometimes it felt to high in my setup.

  • @ThierryLaborie
    @ThierryLaborie Před 4 lety +2

    Just an advice : just reverse the left and right audio when the camera is behind you. It sound strange when you hit the left cymbals but the sound is on the right side.

      Or he could just stop making 1.000 cuts in the videos. There is absolutely no need for that. I mean, watch closely... there are several hundreds of cuts in this 6 minutes video, sometimes even 2-3 cuts in ONE second. Why? Gives me headaches...
