    Need a couple picnic tables in the shaded area of the dog park, so people can sit while their dog runs around and gets their exercise. With the volunteers building that dog park, it shows how much of a community atmosphere you have there. Sounds like a great place to live.

    We were just there this past week and saw this beautiful community first hand! Met a bunch of awesome people in just a few hours (Coach Will, Tim and several residents) - we see the vision, we felt the “community” , saw the quality of the homes and reserved our lot in Buffalo Creek. Couldn’t be more happy - excited about the future and what Randy has planned with Gods help in this awesome community!!

      How did you reserve a lot? And how long will you be waiting before you are ready to move? I was going to drive out there from Oklahoma but I’d like to know somethings before I make the drive. ☺️

      @barbarabee9815 Před rokem +7

      @@MaryOKC we made an appointment before we drove the 12 hours to get there…if you want to reserve a lot in Buffalo Creek you need to pay $10,000 in key money to reserve your lot to lease it at $300 a month. You don’t have to start paying the $300 until lot is ready for your tiny home- which you must purchase from Incredible Tiny Homes. In my opinion their homes are quality made and you have many price ranges and styles to choose from. I believe the timeline is anywhere from 8-12 months until lot is ready.

    Randy there is a place where i grew up called Newport Dunes and it was like a little salt water lake that was part of whats called back bay in Newport Beach California. Spent many summer days there as a child with family and friends. They had a sandy beach all the way around with concessions and a covered wooden platform to have little summer concerts. Plus there was a huge floating whale that you could climb onto and play king of the whale where last one standing was the winner. Your plans for that area brings back some of the best childhood memories of my life.

    I love how the residents are participating in community improvements. So does anyone have dreams of opening one of the shops along the pond? a salon? coffee/smoothie shop? general store? I know Randy doesn't read comments so I'm hoping for responses from current residents. I am looking forward to living in Buffalo Creek.

    The idea of turning tinies into modulars is cool. If every house had two exterior doorframes, add-a-box or a second premium deck would be an easy option right away. The frames don't have to be doors...they can be "dutch doors" (window on top) or a custom accent panel that is fit not to open.

    🌷🌷🌷🌞 FYI , if everyone that is limited on money went to the mountain and dug Up small saplings and plant in front of house..... no money....
    Just add soil to your hole and water. Take care over winter to cover. Fun to watch it grow.🌷🌷🌷
    Hostas are easy and perennials.... you can split them after 3 years and trade with the others have fun 🎊🎉
    Wish I was there💞

      I agree, it wouldn't take long or much for Randy to build a couple green houses and raised beds to make a community garden. He would save a ton on landscaping plants and flowers if they planted seeds instead. They could plant flowering bushes, annuals & perennials, fruit trees, vegetable gardens. It would also give the retired people an activity so no labor cost.

And it takes money and money only comes in so fast, when you want to stay free of loans and investors and headaches. Randy is doing a fabulous job. I wish he had done one of hese communities in WA. State. Imagine the opportunities for residents, if all the little shops he wants to put in, sell their wares/art, or are run by them. Sweet!

I am a caregiver of 2 disabled people and could be a ready nice place for them to enjoy peacefully in nature and sercurty. ❤ Great idea. I do construction, commercial and residential cleaning. I can even dig, cut grass, lay sod, plant flowers I have about 200 of my own plants. 😂 Amazing job. A community anyone could build and grow together in. I worked in senior living for 20 years. It was my favorite job ever I held all different rolls from administrative to activity director (my fav). I will tell you one thing I have learned.... people are going to complain when they are bored... we went to plays, movies, baseball games, and drive through safaris, out to eat twice a week, grocery run and shopping days...As well as had all the activities at the facility. But people were bored.....LOL. You can only do what you can do. But I will tell you this.... the sooner you can get some activity going on the better. Bingo night would be wildly popular. I had people that would win a quarter a game and last game was a dollar.... you would have thought they won a months free rent. and they saved it in jars like a prize. You gotta get some of those people active. Have something to do. A activity person could pull a lot together and if you find it in your budget it may be the best money you ever spent.
