2:52:27 YES! Fully cosmetic, and I'd still love them, playing as bosses or even just looking like boss characters is always fun. If they were playable in single player only, that'd be awesome too
Tekken 8 has the best story mode of any fighting game hands down. It fucking teaches you how to deal with losing matches against real people by having supposed-to-lose ROUNDS in a fight against minor characters. So fucking cool!
I, as quite the mediocre player, put myself through the pain of beating the campaign in hard mode. Seeing you struggle with it was hilarious, I was so mad how cheap the armor on devil kazuya was. That said I spent a literal hour in that final devil fight, so theres that.
Reina being Heihachis daughter is one thing, but inheriting the devil blood is another. G-Corp are the organization that works with genetic stuff like with Super Soldier like Steve and to an extent, Gigas. They had the possession of Kazuya corpse from volcano, which Heihachi and Mishima Zaibatsu didn't have, since Heihachi declared that Kazuya was dead until Tekken 4. Unless Heihachi decided to extract it from Kazumi dead corpse, which he probably put on cryosleep, the way he did to Nina and Anna. Other than that, it seems that Mishima Clan focus on channeling stuff, acting as a conduit, which Reina did try taking hits from Devil Kazuya Laser Beam.
Kazuya in chapter one, happy to see Jin Kazama alive and well. Only mildly annoyed that Jin just destroyed a hundred-million-dollar helicopter with hundred million dollars' worth of employees. First thing he asks is "what do you want with me?" as if he personally wants to pay Jin to F off. Yeah, evil incarnate.
Theoretically, despite them growing stronger and stronger while in the final fight, no one became as strong as Shin Akuma at the secret chapter of T7(had to be mentioned).Yet Shin Akuma still lost even after the devs decided to make him basically invincible 😂
TBH these "cliches" have not been used for so long in any media, due to them being cliches, is this is actually a breath of fresh air and works so GOOD
Something's telling me we might see a new Tekken game sooner than later like the way it used to be. Tekken 7 needed time to get the series back on it's feet.
I like the very last punch in the story, it's a Rocky moment, with "resilience beats how strong you punch" thing. The rest of thr story, not so much XD
I can summarise T8 story mode like this...a crippled man tries to regain his ability to walk again so he can take down his abusive psychopathic father.
Spoilers for the scene at 3:25:22 because I want to theorize something: Reina having a Devil form makes me think that Heihachi also might have had the devil gene, albeit a different one, one that's recessive and very difficult (if not, impossible) to detect. Hear me out: Heihachi was clearly not a human. Survived a fall from a cliff after Tekken 1, survived *another* fall after Tekken 3. Survived an explosion and being buried for months in Tekken 5. He wanted to make sure he didn't have the devil gene, Lars was born, maybe the 'hidden' devil gene wasn't inherited as it was recessive. Fought and killed his wife (Devil) Kazumi and survived everything Kazuya had, until his heart stopped (probably from age) in Tekken 7, then fell into a volcano, now actually confirmed dead. Now, enter Reina. She says "On my life, I swear I'll..." which could end in multiple ways. "I swear I'll...": ...get the Mishima Zaibatsu back. ...defeat anyone who stands in my path just like you did. ...set the Mishima family right again. and so on. Or, Heihachi probably got it on with another chick who happened to have the devil gene.
He prolly experimented with his genes and the devil gene to create Reina. He could've done a lot of nasty stuff between T2 and T4. I think Heihachi is more on the godly side rather than the devil gene thing.
the Mishima are descendants of the Gods of the wind-thunder, so even without a demon they are still more supernatural. Reina may have gotten the gene in the lab, Heihachi had tested Ogre's gene on himself but it didn't work, it probably worked on her
I mean even before him Jinpachi is super strong and was able to get the Devil's power as well. The Mishima's are a very strong bunch and we see it time and time again. With Hehachi I think the idea of him getting Demon aids is kinda too dumb but kinda funny. But that joke aside don't forget what Kasumi said before she tried to kill Hehachi and used her own Devil form.
Theory reina is a child of heihachi and kazumi but it was more of a death pregnancy and the baby was cared for then put in cyro sleep that would grow up to become Reina and be one of the many children to continue heihachi legacy
like coding wise the story was cool; the time-events, the tournament faceoffs, the force mode battle, merging Jin's different styles in the end. But the story their telling such a snoozefest, the writing, the characters, they should save this huge part of the next Tekken game's budget on other things than story. Because they just don't have the talent on their writing team to tell anything worth listening to. The visuals are great, but it's not like Namco created the game-engine.
Why does Claudio never laugh? Because he's a Sirius Marksman.

Finally. Waited so long for your reactions
2:52:27 YES! Fully cosmetic, and I'd still love them, playing as bosses or even just looking like boss characters is always fun. If they were playable in single player only, that'd be awesome too
1:55:02 I started laughing very loud lmao
Man, I gotta main Paul when I buy this game.
1:30:30 Man you beat up Xiaoyu so bad you didn't hear her say "Chesto!"
Why do streamers not mute their annoying ass notifications when doing story content lmfao
Ikr, and ofcourse they are mixed twice as loud as the actual game.
God I can’t stand his hate boner for Asuka and lily
Brother they are cringe one dimensional pedobait filler characters
Nah MaiMan come on,Angel Jin looked cool.
Just not as cool or powerful as Dark Archangel Jin from Blood Vengeance
Technically Steve was a zaibatsu experiment.
@@fightingmedialounge519 Really? I thought Emma Kliesen was only working with G-Corp. Didn't know that she worked with MZ.
@@Caporai yeah, she initially worked with the zaibatsu but went to G corp.
I really doubt heihachi would do something like that to kazumi, but yeah idk how she has the devil gene if kazumi isnt her mother
The MM will never cease on glazing kaz
2:32:10 Jun Glitches across the screen lolll
Huh looks like Masku doesn't have the jack t-pose bug in raven tekken force stage
3:20:07 ? What did he do here to have a dash after df 1?
Idk what makes me laugh, the fact I really did enjoy the story or just I'm seeing an Ichigo moment. 😂😂 If you know you know!!
Theoretically, despite them growing stronger and stronger while in the final fight, no one became as strong as Shin Akuma at the secret chapter of T7(had to be mentioned).Yet Shin Akuma still lost even after the devs decided to make him basically invincible 😂
1:23:00 You know Harada's favorite anime is JJK with amount of characters he KO'd.
I just want to know what brand of fire retardant clothing Kazuya wears.
Reina mishima she is carrying on the devil gene
The second female carrying the devil gene after kazumi 3:25:32
4:05 I thought the same thing when he dashes through the smoke to deliver a punch it’s screenshot worthy
TBH these "cliches" have not been used for so long in any media, due to them being cliches, is this is actually a breath of fresh air and works so GOOD
No, they're still pretty frequent in Japanese media.
I think Heihachi found a way to posses the devil into his daughter before he passed away but idk
nice react man, good video pretty funny i luv u
I'm sad TMM didn't try doing JF Laser Scraper in the 4th round of the final fight (fyi you can do it)
Wait it ends on reina "cliff hanger" So the rest Will be continued in tekken 9 in 2034? 😅
Something's telling me we might see a new Tekken game sooner than later like the way it used to be. Tekken 7 needed time to get the series back on it's feet.
They’re letting us play all the dlc character stories for free so maybe they’ll expand on it as the game ages, no reason not to
my theory is heihachi decided to have reina with another mysterious devil lady to defeat kazuya in the future but idk
32:38 apparently MainMan forgot that it's using Xbox inputs that X is 1 unlike Playstation where X is 3
Anyone know what song is playing during the chapter 3 cutscene?
which cutscene tho?
I like the very last punch in the story, it's a Rocky moment, with "resilience beats how strong you punch" thing. The rest of thr story, not so much XD
I can summarise T8 story mode like this...a crippled man tries to regain his ability to walk again so he can take down his abusive psychopathic father.
Close.
Kinda has Goku vs Frieza vibes, that final battle. Fighter with golden glowing power vs fighter with magenta glowing power.
They mentioned on the Tekken talk that they are going to have the main menu character changeable
Lol It rather seems they prefer showing the same dlc character for 2 months straight instead.
Spoilers for the scene at 3:25:22 because I want to theorize something:
Reina having a Devil form makes me think that Heihachi also might have had the devil gene, albeit a different one, one that's recessive and very difficult (if not, impossible) to detect.
"I swear I'll...":
...get the Mishima Zaibatsu back.
...defeat anyone who stands in my path just like you did.
...set the Mishima family right again.
Reina may have gotten the gene in the lab, Heihachi had tested Ogre's gene on himself but it didn't work, it probably worked on her
you dont need to go that far witht he assumptions and theorizing. Jinpachi had some sort of curse in him too thats enough explanation
Reina is the devil gene experiment Heihachi wanted to make from back in Tekken 4.
Why dont people get that?
Heihachi didnt turn off his pickle and got into it with another clan with the devil gene
Theory reina is a child of heihachi and kazumi but it was more of a death pregnancy and the baby was cared for then put in cyro sleep that would grow up to become Reina and be one of the many children to continue heihachi legacy
Lol that would be in line with the quality of tekkens writing
like coding wise the story was cool; the time-events, the tournament faceoffs, the force mode battle, merging Jin's different styles in the end. But the story their telling such a snoozefest, the writing, the characters, they should save this huge part of the next Tekken game's budget on other things than story. Because they just don't have the talent on their writing team to tell anything worth listening to. The visuals are great, but it's not like Namco created the game-engine.
6:44 no way that was timed like that! That's insane!
Dammit no reaction to the post credit scene :(
Song at the 3 hour 13 mark that he's talking about?
Tekken 2 credits
1:55:40 Kazuya may have black wings and shit but the real devil are the friends wgo do not keep their words and do not return their debts.
Perfect thumbnail
Can Jin use mishamia style he'll sweep in online mode. Or just in story. Can i use those form in rank
you can with omen stance
@@gilgameszh ok thanks
