- Today's video is a full review of the new Very Good Girl from Carolina Herrera and also a comparison between the new fragrance and Angel Nova from Mugler and Delina from Parfums de Marly. As usual I will go through everything regarding the new release and also my recommendations.

This was a very thorough review, thank you!!! These 3 comparisons were just what I was looking for! I like the smell of Angel Nova but it gives me a headache every time because it's just too strong. I've never smelled Delina, but I think the nutmeg would be a drawback for me too. Redcurrant is my favorite fragrance note and I love fruity florals, so you've convinced me to try out Very Good Girl! It just became available in the United States (at Ulta, for anyone looking for it)

By the way, there is a new flanker of Angel Nova EdT that seems from the note structure to be less aggressive. I can't tell you how it smells in reality because it's not yet released in Italy, but maybe it is in the States 😊
Great review and I agree with you, I prefer Very Good Girl to Delina. I have Angel Nova and love it but VGG is a lot more refined I agree 100%.
Surprisingly, I prefer Very Good Girl and Angel Nova over Delina. Even though Delina is good, something in it that almost always gives me a headache especially the opening/first spray is just a little too strong for me. It might be the Rhubarb but i'm not sure. To me, VGG and Angel Nova are more similar to each other as both are on the sweeter side while Delina has that sweet and sour smell

Before I found your video, I actually went to Sephora earlier today and sprayed samples of Very Good Girl and Angel Nova and brought them home with me. I was smelling them along with you while you described the scents. You were completely spot on. Thank you for this video! I'm going to use Very Good Girl as my wedding day scent :)

I don’t like the fruitiness of VGG but I loveeee the smell of the dry down when it smells more rosey and vanilla. Hmmm I’m still debating about buying it

Delina La Rosee is my favorite from the Delina's, but it's not as long lasting and projecting like the original one.

I agree with you, I don't smell similarities between Delina and Angel Nova. I smelled Very Good Girl briefly a few days ago but didn't think Delina either. Will revisit again with that in mind. 🙂

wow very thorough and wonderful review! I love, lovee Very Good Girl! I abolutely hate the original GG which is what prevented me from trying VGG for the longest time. It's such a sophisticated beautiful scent that does not match the hideous, cheap looking bottle.

I don’t like Delina it gets me tired. I bought Angel Nova when it came out hoping it would be better and I gave it to my daughter. I like CHGG the original and I’m waiting for CHVV to get here in the U.S. and you just convinced me it might be worth trying it. Great video.

Thank you for such a wonderful review, and I completely agree with everything you said! I bought Very Good Girl today because I did like Delina but, like you, didn't love the incense and rhubarb in it. I also sometimes struggle with prominent rose notes and preferred how the lychee and redcurrant in Very Good Girl somewhat obscure the rose. I love it!

I was definitely struck by Delina and Angel Nova being very similar- and recently I’ve started trying Very Good Girl and I like it a lot. I find Angel Nova lasts longest. I do agree with you that it smells synthetic though and I love Delina but I prefer VGG because on me, the longevity and sillage is better than Delina.

I tried both Delina and CH VGG and they are not similar at all. Delina is a bit sour on my skin and CH is just sweet. Delina also doesn't last that long on me - 3 to 4 hours- but I like it.

Well they say fragrances are unisex, but to me personally this one is too feminine, but again this is my personal opinion and my personal background and culture. You can wear what you want when you want.
