I an Aussie and I was thinking when the video started. Yeah right, no way he can get that to sound like a didgeridoo. Then he played it. Thats just crazy.

When I was in High School in the 60s I had a muffler that sounded like that... But really when played with other instruments these truly add to the complete sound of a song. Thanks so much for providing them to us.

Good for meditating; when I play my didgeridoo, I close my eyes, start to play and much like the NAF it takes me away from negativity. 😊

I bought a didgeridoo at the local Highland Games many years ago, and really enjoy playing it from time to time.
That being said, I just couldn't get the circular breathing to work for me. I had an instructional DVD that showed how to do it with a straw and a glass of water, and then, an exercise you could do in the shower. I could do those okay, but just couldn't transfer the technique to my didgeridoo.
I hope you have better luck with it, and maybe you can share some tips with us when you get it figured out.
That little didgeridoo serms to use the same technology as Bose does with their speakers; very clever!

Thanks, Jonny! I have one but this demonstration is very helpful. 😃

So you play it like you would play a brass instrument. I used to play trumbone, so I think I would find this rather natural.

  • @laurajanetexascigarmaven6788

I'll bet, for a trumpet player, like me, or any brass player, that would be second nature.

I think I would have to drum my fingers on the body for percussion...
