- 1:25.4 lap and some other random 1:25 laps. 1:24 next traffic free morning đ€
The speed data on the first lap is a little off before T5a. Should peak at ~120ish.
Same E90 M3, with same mods and used Pirelli DH 285/645 on 18x10 wheels.
Weight: 3400lbs with ~1/3 tank, no driver (36XX with driver and generally 1/2 to full tank)
Impressive laps! You don't see many people shifting mid corner (turn 9)
@franco yeung yea itâs not necessarily recommended, but when your heavy car has under 300ft-lbs of torque you have to keep the revs up! đ
Reminding me again i bought the wrong car haha
You just need boost and widebody.
@@TC_OFF "just"
God that car is so fast! You exceed my top speed by 10 mph before the kink on the straight
@sparkys2k I reckon it may be the fastest four door around here, and can fit all of the groceries still.
@@TC_OFF Yeah, but I'd hate to see what the groceries look like after a few laps!
I don't know about you but I'd want a full cage a race harness and firesuit going that fast ;-)
Haha yea that would be a bit more ideal. I at least have a roll bar and schroth 6pt with Hans.
Life on the edge, why not? It ain't too crowded.
@@toddburgess6792 You aren't considering who you leave behind then. They suffer, not you.
@@lawrencehayes5140maybe donât participate in the sport at all if youâre so concerned.
@@RyanDohertyRacing I've raced OW since 1987 so am well aware and have been exposed to all the dangers. That said, the governing bodies (SCCA, etc.) have minimum safety standards, which apply to every entrant.
Well now I'm confused.
I did the racing school at pacific and the lines they showed us are different than the sub 1min 30sec laps I've been watching.
at 4:52 you got close ish to the left of turn 2.
when I did that they started yelling saying I was making the turn too sharp.
and again at 5:10 I did that and they told me it was too sharp lol wtf.
They are teaching the novice/safe/traditional lines, and some of the lines Iâm running only make sense if youâre braking deep into the corners.
