This is a very simple traction freight elevator, and it's too slow. The interior is very dirty, only the button panel is newer... Apparently, it is a building that was converted into a hotel in the 2000's....
I acully live in egypt and this kind of elevator is DANGEROUS

I realy like the lifts in Cairo. As I was in downtown hear Talaat Harb Square and Al-Sherif Basha, I found loads of very nice old lifts. But I was only able to take some photos, which are listed at Elevaattorit

@ANDREWWALLFORD123 Well, it's a very dirty hotel freight elevator, and it's only 6 years old (!) You might have noticed that it's situated in a 3-star hotel in Cairo, Egypt.
I remember when I took a ride on this things old and fashion.

@jaredini Oh, yes. It is very dirty indeed. But I don't know if that hotel has been damaged by the things that have been going on in Egypt this year...

@NagisaKoworu Unfortunately, Some people who want to used the elevator, but is probably that not very welcome of freshing hotel or fresh elevator anyway. This is poor cleaning in the elevator. Because if they want try entry the elevator and take care of health safety elevator might cause smell of toxic left dirty elevator anyway.
That very unhealth safety elevator or smelly stink or dirty. Might be needs replace old one out make a new fresh elevator with slide doors better than that. What so dirty elevator door to through each floors up and down to see then wall of the elevator floors so dirty. Might be later-on trapped cause of your ill.
Well the newer lifts are inner door less. And these are old fashion lifts.
Yuck! So fiffly, so dirty each floor the wall of bit of loo! Be take care of that. Better I use the stairs fresh air better than that. Shouldn't upgraded elevator yet??? And elevator door might future will be replace with new slide doors of the elevator clearly better freshment than nightmares!!!!!!
