Guys, really enjoy your show. Just to let you know if you haven't discovered this yet, Steven Wilson is a musical GENIUS. He's lead singer,guitarist, keyboardistand everything in between. He also has taken the catalogs of Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, King Crimson and many other bands and Remastering their albums into 5:1 surround sound. He's incredibly talented and those other bands trust him enough to let him have free reign to do so.

Moral is don’t leave making up too long. Also check out the vocals mimicking the sound of an ambulance siren.

It's a nice showcase of this softer side of them. It's usually back in there somewhere, but less obvious. There are songs that feature this side heavily as well, but are more of a full band experience, like Mellotron Scratch

Porcupine Tree--Anesthetize
Done any Tool, I know you've done Puscifer, another of Maynard's bands. Tool is amazing, love The Pot, Lateralus, 46 and 2, The Grudge, Right in Two, Vicarious...my fave albums are 10,000 Days and Lateralus, but Fear Inoculum has grown on me, love Descending off that album.
