i wouldnt care about jason personally i just feel like he would be insanely boring not really anything interesting you could do with his power or add ons i feel but every other killer listed would bring something new and fun to the game

The Thing is a killer I've been advocating for having in DBD for some time. I wrote up a fairly in-depth thread on the DBD forums about how they could work a while ago, similar to some of the ideas you were talking about :)
Jason’s power imo should be able to enter a rage state the longer he’s in chase. Kind of like with Myers, Jason build his rage meter the longer he’s in chase with a survivor. Once his rage meter is full he is immune to stuns from pallets and can walk through pallets and breakable walls like in some of his movies.
The Thing, with a power the subterfuge with the survivors would be amazing. Only issue i can think of with them would be SWFs identifying themselves to there friends super easily, making the killers power kind of redundant.
I thought number 1 would’ve been The Evil Within. That game had so many iconic characters and monsters to select from. Ruvik, Stefano, The Keeper, and the quell. And even then there’s many more

I mean Yes Jason has a machete it is his iconic weapon however. In the movies he swaps through different weapons So maybe he could have 2 semi abilities one where his weapon can swap but they have a durability except his Machete and the second his actual killer power. Which could be a stalk feature the faster and stronger he gets or it could work like oni the more Fear meter he gets gives him a tier. however he does also teleport in the movies later on gets super fast etc... Considering Jason Defeated Freddy that is a pretty big feat and went toe to toe with him in his dream world. Defiantly need a camp crystal lake map. Side note I think Terrifer and slenderman be cool to. Slenderman defiantly come with a map. Although we could also get M3gan as well could see her.
Alien would be sick, i would love to run down the tight corridors of the Nostromo while being chased, or crawling through the air ducts to get the jump on a survivor, Ripley of course, or Amanda. Edit: Hadley's hope would be cool as well.
Aaron, how could you ignore Pumpkinhead. One of the best horror classics, a demon summoned to mercilessly hunt down its victims? Give it a tracking ability where it can maybe stand still and see Survivor auras outside of its TR for a bit, but in return its a very slow Killer
One licensed chapter I personally really wanna see is a "The Evil Within" chapter. With Sebastian Castellanos as the survivor (And Juli Kidman as a possible second survivor, Joseph Oda as a legendary skin for Sebastian) Either The Keeper as the killer, or possibly Stefano Valentini as the killer.
Not a licensed killer but it’d be cool to have a spider that can make web traps and lay eggs that turn into baby spiders, the baby spiders being easy to destroy but it could be terrifying.
Giver her a chucky skin though I would like to see her to I honestly think she might make it in the people who made M3gan are working on the dbd movie so its a likely option.
Jason Voorhies is my favourite, and he should definitely be a stealth killer. Maybe similar to Myers, but when he charges up you hear the chi, chi, chi, ha, ha, ha.
I love the Pennywise concept you came up with. The idea of switching between things has always been interesting to me. People even speculated that The Skull Merchant was going to have a power like that when they saw some leaks about her.

I want a "The Shining" and "Doctor Sleep" Chapter. I want older Danny from "Doctor Sleep" to be one of the survivors and his mother Wendy (from 'The Shining') as the other one. Jack Torrance is the killer and the hotel is the map. It all works because everyone from these movies is dead. Maybe Danny and Wendy even after death are helping out people and the entity saw this; then grab them into the fog. But the entity learned about Wendy and Danny from Jack and the haunted hotel. So the entity drags Jack and rebuilds the hotel close to original one. IDK what their perks all could be; if anyone got ideas reply in the comments.
I just realized, it would be amazing if Pennywise's morri was making the survivors stare into the dead lights, then having their corpses float where they died
I would love to see Big Daddy (Bouncer Class) and Little Sister from Bioshock. It would be another duo killer. And I think if the Bouncer had a power it would be like Billy's Chainsaw but once it's activated you can't deactivated till you hit a wall. And when you hit a wall it hinders nearby survivors. I'm thinking for the Little Sister, you could take control of her and search for survivors and if you find a survivor you could use a power like a scream that would make nearby survivors oblivious and give Bouncer a killer Instinct on survivors.
Add on harvesting Adam as a power mechanic, that could benefit a survivor for preventing it or the killer for ensuring it happens and you're onto something
I have always had this game mechanic for Xenomorph. Which is what you said but in more detail; the ability to climb on walls and ceilings, along with the ability of vents. While the Alien is "climbing", he's Undetectable, however survivors would be able to hear the Alien's taunting screams as a lullaby. Survivors can "block" the ventilations which will take the Alien longer to emerge from said vent, but blocking the vent can only happen once per vent.
the one thing i will say about the death angels is that the idea u had would be massively inaccessible to me as a visually impaired player, and i'm sure many other visually impaired players would also find it inaccessible. also any other power that centered entirely around sound or sound queues would be inaccessible to hard of hearing players. so overall, i don't think it's a good idea for those of us in the community that are disabled. also my top choice is Richard Trager. i will NEVER give up on an Outlast chapter. i even came up with a concept for a Trager killer power that was a slash power like the Demogorgon's to fulfill my silly little fantasy of being a Miles Upshur main
I think it would be really cool to add Richard Trager from Outlast, he would fit perfectly into the game, he could use his scissors as a weapon and his mori would be cutting off fingers like in that creepy scene from the game
Ive always said Pennywise should appear as the survivor's killer, and only be revealled as Pennywise after some generators have been completed, or if multiple survivors are together.
Pennywise has been my number one want since I started playing and their inclusion, as well as the Losers Club, would basically single handedly reinvigorate my love for the game.
i think it would be awesome if we got an alien vs predator chapter for dbd as the first chapter to have 2 killers (i dont understand how licensing works so i dont know if there is anything stopping this from happening but if there isnt, i think it would be an awesome chapter)
Personally I feel Jack Torrance would be a great pick, the main problem being is he might feel too generic and is either far too similar to doctor (for his insanity) or legion/trapper (being more human), although in my opinion we could make a overlook hotel map, maybe make his power 'insanity' which makes him progressively stronger faster etc. Still loved the list and they all sound like cool ideas
Feel like Jason would be a conflict to Trapper with similarities, tbh, add in Jeepers Creepers with a limited flight time, similar to Dredges nightfall or a skin walker that can shapeshift into one of the survivors. Honestly surprised they haven't added more cryptid's to the roster.
Having a xenomorph enter the entity's realm might have some Intresting lore implications since it'd be like willingly putting a super aggressive virus in your own body since it really only takes one xeno to start a hive. Then with survivors that are constantly coming back to life after being killed thats a limitless supply of future xenomorphs. I can aslo see skins for xenomorphs maybe having different traits based on killers since xenos take traits of what they burst from
While Jason is just a dude with a knife, there is the myth of his supernatural abilities. They don't exist of course, but BHVR can still use them. They are teleportation, healing, and unnatural speed.
I think you could make Jason similar to Dredge or Onryo, where he teleports to bodies of water as one of his abilities, and if someone is near a pool of water for a certain duration he gets vision of them. Would make him stand out a little more than killers like Mike Myers who's a little basic with his kit.
Death Angles would honestly be cool to see in concept; especially after recently playing In Silence. That killer is blind as well and works on sound and such, and I think it'd work a whole lot like that mechanic in their game!
Jason should just be a 4.8 killer higher "stats" (Naturally faster breaks, hit cooldowns, etc.), his addons can do things like make his lunge longer, harder to blind, deal more damage to gens (like 5% intead of 2.5% on a kick), etc.
Jason power: immortal being power description : Jason is an immortal being with the speed, strength and battle power of a few hundred men and has an evil inside his heart so strong it topples that of the entity. How his power works: as the game starts Jason can use the fog to his advantage, using it to quickly appear at areas of the map where the fog is thickest and gains a small buff when in these zones. however his places of power make room for places of weakness, around the map there will spawn a jumper and a fake head make to look like Jason's mother, survivors finding these items can be used to give Jason a depuff for a few seconds, however once used Jason gains a buff for a few seconds after as the attempt to mimic his mother sends him into a rage. Jason's perks: 1. entity's favourite, Jason's blood filled nature and anger in his heart makes the entity happy and climbs Jason up the ranks quick as the entity's favourite, due to this when you down a survivor the entity shows the survivors to you showing their aura in red when further away then 50 meters from you. 2. cold blooded hunter, Jason grew up hunting for revenge againts the people who killed his mother, survivors leave brighter scratch marks and you see them longer and when you see scratch marks put down within a time frame of 5 seconds you can see foot prints with them giving you a more concrete idea of where they are going. 3. mind of the insane, Jason is a hunter and gets angry when his pray escapes him, when you get into a chase with Jason for the first time and escape his terror radius you will suffer the exposed status for 30 seconds and scream revealing your aura for a few seconds. sorry for the long descriptions this was just the idea i had for the characters even tho some of it may need to be changed around this is what i thought up.
new survivor/ tommy Jarvis: tommy had grown knowing of Jason's presents ands has a almost supernatural knowledge telling him about Jason's movements and whereabouts causing him to follow him into the fog to try and fight him off to protect others. Tommy's perks: 1. supernatural sense, this perks allows the user to get a sound notification when the killer enters a radius (kind of like the heartbeat when the killer is close however its quick and is only for a second or so). 2. paranoid determination: this perk has made tommy forever paranoid causing him to contently be ready for the next Jason attack, this perk increases the speed you run by 3-4-5 percent but only once the killer is near and you start sprinting and only lasts for 25-30-40 seconds after you suffer a slowness depuff for 10 seconds (can only be used once per chase) 3. kill the killer, tommy has prepared for Jason's arrival and knows how to deal with someone bigger and stronger and even those who are supernatural, once a female survivor gets the sweater they can use it to distract Jason and this perk activates for a few seconds, using the scraps you have acquired through the trial you can craft a weapon to end Jason and kill him, however since Jason is immortal he comes back 30 seconds later and this perk can only be used a limited time (this perk can also not be used on other killers due to the powerful nature of the perk, meaning that survivors will have to risk the perk slot and hope for the best).
Tbh, 1 thing that could bring players is Days Gone. A bunch of people want a sequel and they would flock to dbd to play these characters again. Carlos as killer, Deacon and Boozer as survivors.
I think it'd be cool to replace number 2 with the berserker from gears of war. The best part is you'd have a reference point in the fact that you can play as the berserker in gow3's beastmode. Plus you could use members of delta squad as the survivors.
I feel like Hopper and Joyce would be the better survivor choice for a Stranger Things 2 chapter. They have been around the longest and influence over 1/3 of the story. They would also have way more cosmetic potential than Eddie (who only has 1 outfit) and Robin. Eddie and Robin would be perfect as legendary cosmetics for Steve and Nancy.
The game is LONG overdue for Xenomorph, it for sure needs to be a stealth killer. I would LOVE to be able to climb on walls like if to not make it broken, maybe just make it a pounce mechanic that can be done on a high angel or from the ground, basically crouch down and hit the ability button to pounce survivors.
All of these sound cool. We also have a chance to see how The Thing would function in Dead by Daylight by taking a look at Video Horror Society's Anomaly monster. There's many other horror series that deserve to be in DBD, but obviously they aren't as well known as Pennywise, Jason and Xenomorphs.

Honestly to add to your pennywise thing maybe he starts in his base form the clown that has a radial sound when he's in the area kinda like huntress and trickster it could be like a circus theme or something and he has 3 balloons that he can deploy that can send out fake terror radiuses and gives bloodlust when stepped into by killer

Omg I would love The Thing. Can you imagine you are working on a gen with someone and bam he transforms and smacks you. That would be terrifying. These are some really cool ideas to have. An alien just on the ceiling and drops down and smacks you. I would love for the spook factor to come back to dbd and more chases vs gen protections. I just want more scary gameplay and less humanoid killers. More monsters and scares
Problem with Voorhees is there's nothing really new to him. Trapper and Spirit is basically is attributes and ability traits, so it's blank to where they could really take him or what they can do with a power that'll be either balanced or just over balanced, the only thing that would suit his character involvement is with the animation of breaking the doors by going exactly what he does in the F13 game during rage mode of walking right through it and as well.. stepping a feet forward while at it. It's transparent what can be brought to the game for him, but maybe his perks can benefit what he's about. A killer that could be interesting is an Evil Dead; The Deadite. The ability of his the Necronomicon Wrath where the Deadite carries the book of the dead and benefits to if it catches a survivor in the camera zooming effect like Voorhees' shift mechanics in the F13 game but has phases to becoming stronger, faster and more enhanced to effecting the grasped survivor but during the catch controls become backward and mixed for the survivor player and the only way to break free of it to stun the Deadite to drop the book so you can escape the spell and then Deadite has to retrieve it back but if not perceived within a duration limit it becomes visible and if a survivor is holding it they are aura shown both sides for an amount of time if they are possessed by the Wrath and if not possessed they cannot hold it.
I'd love the Death Angel's as a killer for a REALLY unique way to play (from a killer mains perspective btw), make it maybe: survivors cannot be seen outside your terror radius (probably a standard 24m) and can only be seen when performing rushed actions or "loud actions" (ie: repairing, sabo, sprinting
@@Voidedreaper eh no they will never make a killer immune to blind for so many reasons, like Demo doesnt have eyes can be blinded, Wesker literally wears sunglasses and can be blinded, from a balance persepective it wouldnt make sense, though I suppose now we have Singularity who has basekit Brutal and Spirit Fury when using power meaning technically has access to 6 perks i suppose its not far off that they could be basekit lightborn, unique killers with unique gameplay mechanics are what help DBD thrive imo
I really like the Xenomorph and Pennywise ideas. And we could have Sigourney Weaver in the game too (is this the main reason I want this license? maybe). Interestingly, the IT license could really work lore-wise. Pennywise "true form" being a transdimentional spider-god, having Entity legs (?) during the trial (like the ones from P2) could be really interesting, or having him completely hijack the Entity: in this case, red balloons would transport dead survivors, instead of the Entity leg-things.
Alien is the one I have wanted since I started playing. Now that Skull Merchant is a thing, we have a very good candidate for a Predator Legendary skin to release alongside it. As for Alien's power, it has got to have something to do with vents. Perhaps it can just enter a vent placed around the map, and travel between them quickly (amogus). Also, climbing on walls and over loops would be phenomenal. I would main the shit out of that. As for Facehuggers, they are usually held in a nest, and not used as traps, so perhaps they could all be kept in the basement. You hook a survivor in basement, and a facehugger will attach to them. once unhoked, the facehugger will slow down the survivor's movement and action speeds, with some way to remove it via items in the map. The Mori would totally be that Iconic slow hiss, then tongue thing through the head. Perhaps a special Mori if a facehugger is attached where a baby Alien bursts through the survivor's chest.
Shapeshifters sound very hard to do since there's multiple elements that would need to be tested and they would have needed a lot of time to make sure the ability works right, and with the time limit, it may not be possible for a while. I can see Jason or Xenomorph making it much sooner because they are easy to code, and easy to handle based on appearance and possible abilities. Although, Slender or Predator would be good too since they are monstrous and would have unique abilities too that aren't hard to code and handle. In the end, I don't see any shapeshifter making it for a long time.
These are the top 5 chapters I'd like to come to dbd 5: psycho I think a classic horror movie would be a great addition to dbd with norman bates as the killer norman could switch between his norman persona and his mother persona each persona with different abilities and the survivor could be marion crane 4: resident evil 7 Now I know a lot of people are tired of resident evil but every time we get a RE chapter it's very successful. So considering that re 7 is one of if not the best re game (the reason why I say that is because it's the game that saved re) the killer would obviously be jack baker and I feel like his power would be able to control the mold of some kind 3: the fly Last I remember we dont have an insect killer and I think the fly would be a good choice his power could be that he can mutate and he gains new abilities and powers 2: the evil within Now the reason for why I want the evil within is because of how many monsters there are to choose from to be the killer you could have the executioner who could set up unique traps that he made from scrap or the spider patient or the amalgam alpha. But personally theres one that stands out the most Ruvik. This guy could really bring something new to dbd he could do something like possess survivors and make them do things they dont want to like sabotage gens and pallets I think ruvik would be amazing 1: silence of the lambs Now I know we want monsters but come on...hannibal lecter?! Imagine your working on a gen and next thing you know you hear hannibal say: on a similar note I must confess to you I'm giving very serious thoughts......... to eating your heart Idk what his power would be but in the movies he has a great sixth sense so imo I think he could have that thing where when ghostface is in stealth mode that like ring thing that let's you know someone is looking at you when in stealth mode Now I will say that another good choice for a killer would be buffalo bill the main antagonist of silence of the lambs with maybe him turning the lights off and him using his night vision goggles to catch survivors off guard So that's my top 5 chapters I want in dbd.

Killer: Homelander Survivor: Billy Butcher. Not sure about what Homelander could have in terms of power/perks (I would assume something to do with laser eyes or x-ray vision) but Butcher could have a Temp-V perk that functions similarly to the flash bang and blast mine perks. You have to do a certain action for x amount of time and then you can get Temp-V that when used grants Endurance for a few seconds.
I’m so late to this video but if the Wendigo were to be put in that would also mean we would get 2 to 4 survivors from the game itself and my guess would be they would choose either Mike,, Josh, Chris and Sam if they were trying to keep it even and do two guys and two girls they would probably swap Josh out for Emily. Now I know a lot of people didn’t like her for reasons, but when it comes down to it, she had brains, and that was probably the usable as one of her perks.
The xenomorph is a cool one but it's Ability should definitely be it's tail. It give you a longer lunge and reach. You m1 would be of course a little shorter with a decreased lunge
a "blind" killer like all the villains you listed for #2 could work for The Veteran from Don't Breathe. im sick of human/humanoid killers but he would be a sick addition to the game.

Spring trap from fnaf. His powers would be when a survivor is half way on a gen the image of him blocking your view, second power would be stealth attack when the chase of a survivor is half way over he teleported close to the survivor and strike them , third power would he cause the game to short circuit and the survivor have to get back on them or when the gates starting to open it take longer for the gates to open when he is near by ! His mori would be he grabs his signature knife and slice the survivor throats or have a good beat down !!!
Great picks but I have to say I see the same suggestions everytime this topic comes up so here are some really underrated ips that would make some fantastic chapters: 1. Fatal Frame - We have RE and SH we need this the finish the big three survival horror games. Also my number 1 :) 2. Evil Dead - Needs it's own chapter really the goat of horror imo 3. Prey 2017 4. Clock Tower 5. Bloodborne - Would give us an awesome killer Also it may just be me but I'd love to see breaking bad in dbd, doesn't really fit but maybe a crossover cosmetic collection.
For the game to bring the player base back up i think we need something iconic, a true legend of horror. None of these newer killers like meghan or a silly creepypasta
I think it’s a hard line to walk for BHVR because in one way you’re absolutely right but then, on the other hand, maybe it would be better to bring in something more modern because it would be more likely to bring in modern audience to the game?
Another killer that could be cool to see in DBD would be a Necromorph from Dead Space. Add a map based off the Ishimura. It could have vents and stuff it could come out of like Dredge with lockers. Maybe some sort of mechanic where the survivors are slowly corrupted by The Marker and it makes them work slower on gens unless they cleanse their mind of The Markers corruption. Maybe they could even add different variants of the Necromorph. Like the Leaper could pounce on a survivor and injur them but give it a long cooldown and make it stun the killer for a few seconds to make it fair for survivors to get in a chase rather than just making it an outright easy kill. Maybe the survivors could get some sort of mechanic that could actually injur the killer and remove a limb to cripple the killer for a short time. Just some thoughts. I think it would be very interesting to see it done right
@Skillet that's what I'm saying. That would actually be something new and innovative they could add rather than just continuing to add basically the same stuff. I don't play dbd a lot but I do enjoy it and want to see the game actually really succeed. But it seems like they've been flopping hard with recent killers. Like the newest one. The teaser trailer looked so cool then when the killer was revealed its just some random girl with half a mask. That's not exactly scary. They need new MONSTER killers. Not humans.
as much as people would complain, if you did want a power like the one you talked about for the Thing, that type of power would also work for a third resident evil crossover, if they used Mother Miranda from Village. which, while not as iconic as the Thing, might be a little easier for them to get the license to if they wanted to make that kind of power. honestly I don't much care about the licenses themselves so much as the killer being fun. they don't even have to be particularly strong. they could make a killer that's literally just like, 3 dnd kobolds in a trench coat and as long as they're fun I'd play it. personally though. I would really like some sort of star wars villain. but I'd want someone kinda obscure to most star wars fans. like Darth Treya or maybe Nhilus. I suppose if they wanted they could totally do Vader and have him just slow walk around. Vader might actually be really neat because they could make the excuse his cybernetics don't work properly in the fog for why he's not just stupid OP. his power could be either a force choke stun or a force pull, the stun might be a little too strong, the pull could just be an instant version of deathslingers power with no chain, so it's just "yoink" and if they manage to juke behind something then they don't get the full pull on them.
My two ideas would be Darth Vader and a Gears of War berserker. Darth Vader’s breathing would be similar to huntress’s humming. He would be slower than most killers but would have the ability to hold survivors in place with force choke. The berserker is blind but has excellent smell and hearing. The screen would be dark for her but every noise (including running) would cause the area around the noise to be revealed. The berserker’s running would reveal the area in shorter range. Her scream would reveal a larger area and cause all survivors within range to scream as well. She would also have a charge ability with possible instant down capabilities.
Of course I would love to see more Stranger Things! Having said that, I could see Alien or TheThing be really cool. DBD needs to branch out more into non human killers.
I'm still upset that L4D Bill didn't get one of the special infected as a killer across from him. Imo literally any of them would work as a killer, but my pick would be the Tank. Also, 3:56 Spirit: "Am I a joke to you?"

The Thing is a killer I've been advocating for having in DBD for some time. I wrote up a fairly in-depth thread on the DBD forums about how they could work a while ago, similar to some of the ideas you were talking about :)
Jason’s power imo should be able to enter a rage state the longer he’s in chase. Kind of like with Myers, Jason build his rage meter the longer he’s in chase with a survivor. Once his rage meter is full he is immune to stuns from pallets and can walk through pallets and breakable walls like in some of his movies.
Very forgiving killer as it rewards you for messing up but I feel like he would need something else
The Thing, with a power the subterfuge with the survivors would be amazing.
Only issue i can think of with them would be SWFs identifying themselves to there friends super easily, making the killers power kind of redundant.
I thought number 1 would’ve been The Evil Within. That game had so many iconic characters and monsters to select from. Ruvik, Stefano, The Keeper, and the quell. And even then there’s many more
Ive talked about getting Vecna before. Idk about power or really much else, but just having his terror radius the clock chimes from the show would be amazing...... that and yes, I would become a Eddie main in a heartbeat.
I mean Yes Jason has a machete it is his iconic weapon however. In the movies he swaps through different weapons So maybe he could have 2 semi abilities one where his weapon can swap but they have a durability except his Machete and the second his actual killer power. Which could be a stalk feature the faster and stronger he gets or it could work like oni the more Fear meter he gets gives him a tier. however he does also teleport in the movies later on gets super fast etc... Considering Jason Defeated Freddy that is a pretty big feat and went toe to toe with him in his dream world. Defiantly need a camp crystal lake map. Side note I think Terrifer and slenderman be cool to. Slenderman defiantly come with a map. Although we could also get M3gan as well could see her.
Alien would be sick, i would love to run down the tight corridors of the Nostromo while being chased, or crawling through the air ducts to get the jump on a survivor, Ripley of course, or Amanda.
Edit: Hadley's hope would be cool as well.

Aaron, how could you ignore Pumpkinhead. One of the best horror classics, a demon summoned to mercilessly hunt down its victims? Give it a tracking ability where it can maybe stand still and see Survivor auras outside of its TR for a bit, but in return its a very slow Killer

One licensed chapter I personally really wanna see is a "The Evil Within" chapter.
With Sebastian Castellanos as the survivor (And Juli Kidman as a possible second survivor, Joseph Oda as a legendary skin for Sebastian)

Not a licensed killer but it’d be cool to have a spider that can make web traps and lay eggs that turn into baby spiders, the baby spiders being easy to destroy but it could be terrifying.
I would like to see M3gan. She can have a new animation for dragging survivors to the hooks
Giver her a chucky skin though I would like to see her to I honestly think she might make it in the people who made M3gan are working on the dbd movie so its a likely option.

Jason Voorhies is my favourite, and he should definitely be a stealth killer. Maybe similar to Myers, but when he charges up you hear the chi, chi, chi, ha, ha, ha.
I love the Pennywise concept you came up with. The idea of switching between things has always been interesting to me. People even speculated that The Skull Merchant was going to have a power like that when they saw some leaks about her.
They could make the face huggers like the pig traps, if you don't get it off in time you die by your chest being burst open like in the movie

I want a "The Shining" and "Doctor Sleep" Chapter. I want older Danny from "Doctor Sleep" to be one of the survivors and his mother Wendy (from 'The Shining') as the other one. Jack Torrance is the killer and the hotel is the map. It all works because everyone from these movies is dead. Maybe Danny and Wendy even after death are helping out people and the entity saw this; then grab them into the fog. But the entity learned about Wendy and Danny from Jack and the haunted hotel. So the entity drags Jack and rebuilds the hotel close to original one. IDK what their perks all could be; if anyone got ideas reply in the comments.
I just realized, it would be amazing if Pennywise's morri was making the survivors stare into the dead lights, then having their corpses float where they died

I would love to see Big Daddy (Bouncer Class) and Little Sister from Bioshock. It would be another duo killer. And I think if the Bouncer had a power it would be like Billy's Chainsaw but once it's activated you can't deactivated till you hit a wall. And when you hit a wall it hinders nearby survivors. I'm thinking for the Little Sister, you could take control of her and search for survivors and if you find a survivor you could use a power like a scream that would make nearby survivors oblivious and give Bouncer a killer Instinct on survivors.
Add on harvesting Adam as a power mechanic, that could benefit a survivor for preventing it or the killer for ensuring it happens and you're onto something

I have always had this game mechanic for Xenomorph. Which is what you said but in more detail; the ability to climb on walls and ceilings, along with the ability of vents. While the Alien is "climbing", he's Undetectable, however survivors would be able to hear the Alien's taunting screams as a lullaby. Survivors can "block" the ventilations which will take the Alien longer to emerge from said vent, but blocking the vent can only happen once per vent.

the one thing i will say about the death angels is that the idea u had would be massively inaccessible to me as a visually impaired player, and i'm sure many other visually impaired players would also find it inaccessible. also any other power that centered entirely around sound or sound queues would be inaccessible to hard of hearing players. so overall, i don't think it's a good idea for those of us in the community that are disabled.
also my top choice is Richard Trager. i will NEVER give up on an Outlast chapter. i even came up with a concept for a Trager killer power that was a slash power like the Demogorgon's to fulfill my silly little fantasy of being a Miles Upshur main
I think it would be really cool to add Richard Trager from Outlast, he would fit perfectly into the game, he could use his scissors as a weapon and his mori would be cutting off fingers like in that creepy scene from the game

Ive always said Pennywise should appear as the survivor's killer, and only be revealled as Pennywise after some generators have been completed, or if multiple survivors are together.
Pennywise has been my number one want since I started playing and their inclusion, as well as the Losers Club, would basically single handedly reinvigorate my love for the game.
i think it would be awesome if we got an alien vs predator chapter for dbd as the first chapter to have 2 killers (i dont understand how licensing works so i dont know if there is anything stopping this from happening but if there isnt, i think it would be an awesome chapter)

Personally I feel Jack Torrance would be a great pick, the main problem being is he might feel too generic and is either far too similar to doctor (for his insanity) or legion/trapper (being more human), although in my opinion we could make a overlook hotel map, maybe make his power 'insanity' which makes him progressively stronger faster etc. Still loved the list and they all sound like cool ideas
Feel like Jason would be a conflict to Trapper with similarities, tbh, add in Jeepers Creepers with a limited flight time, similar to Dredges nightfall or a skin walker that can shapeshift into one of the survivors. Honestly surprised they haven't added more cryptid's to the roster.

i know its over said but I would DIE for a FNAF chapter. as someone who grew upl playing FNAF it would be a dream come true for me.
Having a xenomorph enter the entity's realm might have some Intresting lore implications since it'd be like willingly putting a super aggressive virus in your own body since it really only takes one xeno to start a hive. Then with survivors that are constantly coming back to life after being killed thats a limitless supply of future xenomorphs.

While Jason is just a dude with a knife, there is the myth of his supernatural abilities. They don't exist of course, but BHVR can still use them. They are teleportation, healing, and unnatural speed.
I think you could make Jason similar to Dredge or Onryo, where he teleports to bodies of water as one of his abilities, and if someone is near a pool of water for a certain duration he gets vision of them. Would make him stand out a little more than killers like Mike Myers who's a little basic with his kit.
I just really want FNAF. It's personally my most wanted chapter and I'd be beyond happy if it's unlikely appearance ever made it in the game

Jason should just be a 4.8 killer higher "stats" (Naturally faster breaks, hit cooldowns, etc.), his addons can do things like make his lunge longer, harder to blind, deal more damage to gens (like 5% intead of 2.5% on a kick), etc.
Jason power: immortal being power description : Jason is an immortal being with the speed, strength and battle power of a few hundred men and has an evil inside his heart so strong it topples that of the entity. How his power works: as the game starts Jason can use the fog to his advantage, using it to quickly appear at areas of the map where the fog is thickest and gains a small buff when in these zones. however his places of power make room for places of weakness, around the map there will spawn a jumper and a fake head make to look like Jason's mother, survivors finding these items can be used to give Jason a depuff for a few seconds, however once used Jason gains a buff for a few seconds after as the attempt to mimic his mother sends him into a rage. Jason's perks: 1. entity's favourite, Jason's blood filled nature and anger in his heart makes the entity happy and climbs Jason up the ranks quick as the entity's favourite, due to this when you down a survivor the entity shows the survivors to you showing their aura in red when further away then 50 meters from you. 2. cold blooded hunter, Jason grew up hunting for revenge againts the people who killed his mother, survivors leave brighter scratch marks and you see them longer and when you see scratch marks put down within a time frame of 5 seconds you can see foot prints with them giving you a more concrete idea of where they are going. 3. mind of the insane, Jason is a hunter and gets angry when his pray escapes him, when you get into a chase with Jason for the first time and escape his terror radius you will suffer the exposed status for 30 seconds and scream revealing your aura for a few seconds. sorry for the long descriptions this was just the idea i had for the characters even tho some of it may need to be changed around this is what i thought up.
new survivor/ tommy Jarvis: tommy had grown knowing of Jason's presents ands has a almost supernatural knowledge telling him about Jason's movements and whereabouts causing him to follow him into the fog to try and fight him off to protect others. Tommy's perks: 1. supernatural sense, this perks allows the user to get a sound notification when the killer enters a radius (kind of like the heartbeat when the killer is close however its quick and is only for a second or so). 2. paranoid determination: this perk has made tommy forever paranoid causing him to contently be ready for the next Jason attack, this perk increases the speed you run by 3-4-5 percent but only once the killer is near and you start sprinting and only lasts for 25-30-40 seconds after you suffer a slowness depuff for 10 seconds (can only be used once per chase) 3. kill the killer, tommy has prepared for Jason's arrival and knows how to deal with someone bigger and stronger and even those who are supernatural, once a female survivor gets the sweater they can use it to distract Jason and this perk activates for a few seconds, using the scraps you have acquired through the trial you can craft a weapon to end Jason and kill him, however since Jason is immortal he comes back 30 seconds later and this perk can only be used a limited time (this perk can also not be used on other killers due to the powerful nature of the perk, meaning that survivors will have to risk the perk slot and hope for the best).
Tbh, 1 thing that could bring players is Days Gone. A bunch of people want a sequel and they would flock to dbd to play these characters again. Carlos as killer, Deacon and Boozer as survivors.
I think it'd be cool to replace number 2 with the berserker from gears of war. The best part is you'd have a reference point in the fact that you can play as the berserker in gow3's beastmode. Plus you could use members of delta squad as the survivors.

I feel like Hopper and Joyce would be the better survivor choice for a Stranger Things 2 chapter. They have been around the longest and influence over 1/3 of the story. They would also have way more cosmetic potential than Eddie (who only has 1 outfit) and Robin. Eddie and Robin would be perfect as legendary cosmetics for Steve and Nancy.
The game is LONG overdue for Xenomorph, it for sure needs to be a stealth killer. I would LOVE to be able to climb on walls like if to not make it broken, maybe just make it a pounce mechanic that can be done on a high angel or from the ground, basically crouch down and hit the ability button to pounce survivors.
I'd like to see Terminator or Predator, ofc with Arnold as survivor!
All of these sound cool. We also have a chance to see how The Thing would function in Dead by Daylight by taking a look at Video Horror Society's Anomaly monster.
There's many other horror series that deserve to be in DBD, but obviously they aren't as well known as Pennywise, Jason and Xenomorphs.

Honestly to add to your pennywise thing maybe he starts in his base form the clown that has a radial sound when he's in the area kinda like huntress and trickster it could be like a circus theme or something and he has 3 balloons that he can deploy that can send out fake terror radiuses and gives bloodlust when stepped into by killer

Omg I would love The Thing. Can you imagine you are working on a gen with someone and bam he transforms and smacks you. That would be terrifying. These are some really cool ideas to have. An alien just on the ceiling and drops down and smacks you. I would love for the spook factor to come back to dbd and more chases vs gen protections. I just want more scary gameplay and less humanoid killers. More monsters and scares

Problem with Voorhees is there's nothing really new to him.
Trapper and Spirit is basically is attributes and ability traits, so it's blank to where they could really take him or what they can do with a power that'll be either balanced or just over balanced, the only thing that would suit his character involvement is with the animation of breaking the doors by going exactly what he does in the F13 game during rage mode of walking right through it and as well.. stepping a feet forward while at it. It's transparent what can be brought to the game for him, but maybe his perks can benefit what he's about.
A killer that could be interesting is an Evil Dead; The Deadite. The ability of his the Necronomicon Wrath where the Deadite carries the book of the dead and benefits to if it catches a survivor in the camera zooming effect like Voorhees' shift mechanics in the F13 game but has phases to becoming stronger, faster and more enhanced to effecting the grasped survivor but during the catch controls become backward and mixed for the survivor player and the only way to break free of it to stun the Deadite to drop the book so you can escape the spell and then Deadite has to retrieve it back but if not perceived within a duration limit it becomes visible and if a survivor is holding it they are aura shown both sides for an amount of time if they are possessed by the Wrath and if not possessed they cannot hold it.
I'd love the Death Angel's as a killer for a REALLY unique way to play (from a killer mains perspective btw), make it maybe: survivors cannot be seen outside your terror radius (probably a standard 24m) and can only be seen when performing rushed actions or "loud actions" (ie: repairing, sabo, sprinting
it would also be a killer who would naturally immune to flashlights since they are blind naturally as well.
@@Voidedreaper eh no they will never make a killer immune to blind for so many reasons, like Demo doesnt have eyes can be blinded, Wesker literally wears sunglasses and can be blinded, from a balance persepective it wouldnt make sense, though I suppose now we have Singularity who has basekit Brutal and Spirit Fury when using power meaning technically has access to 6 perks i suppose its not far off that they could be basekit lightborn, unique killers with unique gameplay mechanics are what help DBD thrive imo
I really like the Xenomorph and Pennywise ideas.
And we could have Sigourney Weaver in the game too (is this the main reason I want this license? maybe).
Interestingly, the IT license could really work lore-wise. Pennywise "true form" being a transdimentional spider-god, having Entity legs (?) during the trial (like the ones from P2) could be really interesting, or having him completely hijack the Entity: in this case, red balloons would transport dead survivors, instead of the Entity leg-things.

Alien is the one I have wanted since I started playing. Now that Skull Merchant is a thing, we have a very good candidate for a Predator Legendary skin to release alongside it.
As for Alien's power, it has got to have something to do with vents. Perhaps it can just enter a vent placed around the map, and travel between them quickly (amogus). Also, climbing on walls and over loops would be phenomenal. I would main the shit out of that. As for Facehuggers, they are usually held in a nest, and not used as traps, so perhaps they could all be kept in the basement. You hook a survivor in basement, and a facehugger will attach to them. once unhoked, the facehugger will slow down the survivor's movement and action speeds, with some way to remove it via items in the map.
The Mori would totally be that Iconic slow hiss, then tongue thing through the head. Perhaps a special Mori if a facehugger is attached where a baby Alien bursts through the survivor's chest.
Shapeshifters sound very hard to do since there's multiple elements that would need to be tested and they would have needed a lot of time to make sure the ability works right, and with the time limit, it may not be possible for a while. I can see Jason or Xenomorph making it much sooner because they are easy to code, and easy to handle based on appearance and possible abilities. Although, Slender or Predator would be good too since they are monstrous and would have unique abilities too that aren't hard to code and handle. In the end, I don't see any shapeshifter making it for a long time.
Also, no amount of licensed killers will bring dbd back from the grave.

5: psycho
I think a classic horror movie would be a great addition to dbd with norman bates as the killer norman could switch between his norman persona and his mother persona each persona with different abilities and the survivor could be marion crane
4: resident evil 7
Now I know a lot of people are tired of resident evil but every time we get a RE chapter it's very successful. So considering that re 7 is one of if not the best re game (the reason why I say that is because it's the game that saved re) the killer would obviously be jack baker and I feel like his power would be able to control the mold of some kind
3: the fly
Last I remember we dont have an insect killer and I think the fly would be a good choice his power could be that he can mutate and he gains new abilities and powers
2: the evil within
Now the reason for why I want the evil within is because of how many monsters there are to choose from to be the killer you could have the executioner who could set up unique traps that he made from scrap or the spider patient or the amalgam alpha. But personally theres one that stands out the most
Ruvik. This guy could really bring something new to dbd he could do something like possess survivors and make them do things they dont want to like sabotage gens and pallets I think ruvik would be amazing

Idk what his power would be but in the movies he has a great sixth sense so imo I think he could have that thing where when ghostface is in stealth mode that like ring thing that let's you know someone is looking at you when in stealth mode
Now I will say that another good choice for a killer would be buffalo bill the main antagonist of silence of the lambs with maybe him turning the lights off and him using his night vision goggles to catch survivors off guard
So that's my top 5 chapters I want in dbd.

Killer: Homelander Survivor: Billy Butcher. Not sure about what Homelander could have in terms of power/perks (I would assume something to do with laser eyes or x-ray vision) but Butcher could have a Temp-V perk that functions similarly to the flash bang and blast mine perks. You have to do a certain action for x amount of time and then you can get Temp-V that when used grants Endurance for a few seconds.
I’m so late to this video but if the Wendigo were to be put in that would also mean we would get 2 to 4 survivors from the game itself and my guess would be they would choose either Mike,, Josh, Chris and Sam if they were trying to keep it even and do two guys and two girls they would probably swap Josh out for Emily. Now I know a lot of people didn’t like her for reasons, but when it comes down to it, she had brains, and that was probably the usable as one of her perks.
The xenomorph is a cool one but it's Ability should definitely be it's tail. It give you a longer lunge and reach. You m1 would be of course a little shorter with a decreased lunge
a "blind" killer like all the villains you listed for #2 could work for The Veteran from Don't Breathe. im sick of human/humanoid killers but he would be a sick addition to the game.

His powers would be when a survivor is half way on a gen the image of him blocking your view, second power would be stealth attack when the chase of a survivor is half way over he teleported close to the survivor and strike them , third power would he cause the game to short circuit and the survivor have to get back on them or when the gates starting to open it take longer for the gates to open when he is near by ! His mori would be he grabs his signature knife and slice the survivor throats or have a good beat down !!!

Great picks but I have to say I see the same suggestions everytime this topic comes up so here are some really underrated ips that would make some fantastic chapters:
1. Fatal Frame - We have RE and SH we need this the finish the big three survival horror games. Also my number 1 :)
2. Evil Dead - Needs it's own chapter really the goat of horror imo
3. Prey 2017
4. Clock Tower
5. Bloodborne - Would give us an awesome killer

I think it’s a hard line to walk for BHVR because in one way you’re absolutely right but then, on the other hand, maybe it would be better to bring in something more modern because it would be more likely to bring in modern audience to the game?
Another killer that could be cool to see in DBD would be a Necromorph from Dead Space. Add a map based off the Ishimura. It could have vents and stuff it could come out of like Dredge with lockers. Maybe some sort of mechanic where the survivors are slowly corrupted by The Marker and it makes them work slower on gens unless they cleanse their mind of The Markers corruption. Maybe they could even add different variants of the Necromorph. Like the Leaper could pounce on a survivor and injur them but give it a long cooldown and make it stun the killer for a few seconds to make it fair for survivors to get in a chase rather than just making it an outright easy kill. Maybe the survivors could get some sort of mechanic that could actually injur the killer and remove a limb to cripple the killer for a short time. Just some thoughts. I think it would be very interesting to see it done right

@Skillet that's what I'm saying. That would actually be something new and innovative they could add rather than just continuing to add basically the same stuff. I don't play dbd a lot but I do enjoy it and want to see the game actually really succeed. But it seems like they've been flopping hard with recent killers. Like the newest one. The teaser trailer looked so cool then when the killer was revealed its just some random girl with half a mask. That's not exactly scary. They need new MONSTER killers. Not humans.

as much as people would complain, if you did want a power like the one you talked about for the Thing, that type of power would also work for a third resident evil crossover, if they used Mother Miranda from Village. which, while not as iconic as the Thing, might be a little easier for them to get the license to if they wanted to make that kind of power.
honestly I don't much care about the licenses themselves so much as the killer being fun. they don't even have to be particularly strong. they could make a killer that's literally just like, 3 dnd kobolds in a trench coat and as long as they're fun I'd play it.
personally though. I would really like some sort of star wars villain. but I'd want someone kinda obscure to most star wars fans. like Darth Treya or maybe Nhilus. I suppose if they wanted they could totally do Vader and have him just slow walk around. Vader might actually be really neat because they could make the excuse his cybernetics don't work properly in the fog for why he's not just stupid OP. his power could be either a force choke stun or a force pull, the stun might be a little too strong, the pull could just be an instant version of deathslingers power with no chain, so it's just "yoink" and if they manage to juke behind something then they don't get the full pull on them.
The thing would be perfect. Jeepers Creepers. Chucky
Xenomorph. Velociraptor/Dinosaur.
Bigfoot/Yeti/Sasquatch.

My two ideas would be Darth Vader and a Gears of War berserker.
Darth Vader’s breathing would be similar to huntress’s humming. He would be slower than most killers but would have the ability to hold survivors in place with force choke.
The berserker is blind but has excellent smell and hearing. The screen would be dark for her but every noise (including running) would cause the area around the noise to be revealed. The berserker’s running would reveal the area in shorter range. Her scream would reveal a larger area and cause all survivors within range to scream as well. She would also have a charge ability with possible instant down capabilities.
Of course I would love to see more Stranger Things! Having said that, I could see Alien or TheThing be really cool. DBD needs to branch out more into non human killers.
I feel like if they put Pennywise in the game his Mori would be, of course, sucking out the person soul, then their body floats away
