How to Use The Convection Oven in Your RV

- Do you know how to use the convection oven in your RV? So many RV people only use the microwave part of the ovens that come as part of their motorhome or trailer's galley.
Most such appliances, though, are also convection ovens. We get questions all the time from RVers asking how to use the convection part. We could think of no better person to demonstrate its use that our friend Mary Jane Curry, the RV Recipes Editor for our Roadtreking.com blog.

Awesome video again... Thanks for all the time and work y'all put into your videos.... I bought my wife one of them there fancy ovens nearly 15 years ago now. She used it twice. Next thing I knew it was up in the rafters of my garage. When I asked her why she had our son put it up there she said that it was taking up to much room on her counter... I swear I don't know about her some times. She'll spend big money on things use them a few times, and never touch them again them she'll pack it up and give it to good will... I tell her to let me sell the stuff and she says NO, she don't want the mess of doing a yard sale... I tell her I'd be doing it while she was at work, being I'm retired. She'd rather just give it all away... 40 years being with her and I just don't understand how she thinks... LOL,LOL,LOL

Thanks. I would not have known about the need to use the rack for convection cooking. I thought it was just for grilling. I just learned our microwave has a convection oven. We upgraded our house with a micro/convection oven and never used the convection. This video helps.

Great. First time I have seen a convection oven demonstrated. It is so easy! Now I want one.
It's all I use in my home! It's great! Costco almost always has one available that fits the size of a 12 inch pizza!

I'll admit, I've been a bit apprehensive about using the convection oven in my Class-B, but she makes it look easy.

Do you have to use that rack you use to set it on? Also, what kind of dish was that you heated it in. Certain cook ware you need?
When do you want to flip the rack and have the longer legs on the bottom? Certain things that are being cooked?

Good question. But have I missed the answer somewhere? I brought metallic muffin tins. Don’t know if I can use them.

I'm trying to figure out why I need a MW/Conv and a separate oven.
I would like to remove my stove/ oven and use an induction cook top for every day cooking.
