Or China... there seems to be a rather tight relationship with China. On that note, I need to admit, China has a very unique way of assisting African countries. China knows that if they assist / build government infrastructure in Africa, 9 out of 10 times these governments falter on their repayments and China then negotiates that they take control of the infrastructure that they built and write off the debt. Its all about the control of essential infrastructure in countries that make China such a strong force.

Or China... there seems to be a rather tight relationship with China. On that note, I need to admit, China has a very unique way of assisting African countries. China knows that if they assist / build government infrastructure in Africa, 9 out of 10 times these governments falter on their repayments and China then negotiates that they take control of the infrastructure that they built and write off the debt. While we laugh and call them failures they laugh because guess what they don’t want black people to be wealthy, they just want everyone to be poor while they get rich like Oligarchs.

All around town are overgrown trenches, large rusting piles of pipes, a huge empty tank( which will collapse if filled because of poor quality) , an ugly abandoned edifice which I presume to be some kind of manhole thing.
Millions of Rands have been stolen by so- called contractors, time and again, who start the job and then take off with the money.

I think the number one issue is zero consequences - If you don't pay for services then no one will switch you off, as the citizens go rogue and start burning and breaking , and then again nothing happens . If you steal billions through tenders in the name of transformation and then do no work but get paid - nothing happens . Whoever is voted in has to do the following 1. Build mega prison's in the Wester Cape 2. Have specialized courts that have 5 days from first appearance to sentencing 3. Disbar any lawyers that ask for postponement i.e. self enrichment 4. Then publish minimum sentence list (all without parole) and start putting people in jail e.g. 25 years minimum for corruption , 2 years for non payment of services ,. life for rape and armed robbery in homes , . Life for drug dealing - Then , each month publish , a list of names and sentence period, of those who are going to jail : After these steps, within 1 year people will know " there is a new sheriff in town " and all will be compliant and stay in their lane .
