It is one of the other exercise ( basic and light physical), social exercise ( includes sense of humbleness in front of our creator and lord, The God Almighty), sense of get together with other human being, if attending congragation, discipline and time management etc. etc....besides direct contact with our creator.

Please read the advice of an educated Pakistani. Read books on history. Also you may read what an a educated Pakistani says:
it would be better if you study about science, history, geography, religion, literature. Quranic knowledge is not enough. Islam is not the only religions. There are many other relgions. All are equally good. If Islam is so good why are millions of Muslims running away from Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria , Morrocco etcetera and settling in Christian countries in Europe. France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland,Denmark, Norway,Sweden etcetra have accepted millions of muslim refuges and given them homes, jobs and citizenship.
Also everything right from cars, trains, radio, tv, refrigerators, aeroplanes, submarines wireless, Modern medicines, computers, internet, email etcetera all have been invented by Christians and Jews. Islam is the only religion which legalized slavery and introduced the concept if providing 72 virgins to Muslim men in jannat That is why I advise you to come out of darkness and come into the world of knowledge. For that it requires education in a good university. A good education give a person a balanced outlook on
