Trust us to pick the worst pizza, there were so many lovely places just up the road. Can't believe, it's still just under a year since our very first cruise, we've got a lot of catching up to do.

Well done video - gives a great idea of a day in Taormina. How did you get from Taormina back down to the train station - did you take the bus again? I wonder if taxis are readily available in Taormina to take people to the station? Thanks for your video :)
Yes, we got the bus down. It was a local bus which also accepted the shuttle bus tickets. There are taxis available and if you're fit, there is a walking path down to the station which takes about 25 to 30 minutes

That was a very interesting vlog. As a lover of old ruins I would love to vist Taormina. My kind of place. But I would avoid the Pizza....lol.

We would recommend at least 3 hours but as long as you can.
What made you decide to take the train, verses using a shuttle bus directly from the port to Taormina?
It was quick, easy and cheap with a choice of times
