Am I the only one who feels that people are overreacting about this game? You can't really judge the difficulty of a game from the first level of the first world alone come one (the second one, the Patisserie Peach one already requires more focus if you want 100%). Besides, the -1 on every level indicates that there are multiple levels for each transformations. I think difficulty will escalate gradually as you progress.
Tbh if I had to take a guess, the game will be fairly easy to finish but more difficult to complete, since that's how most Mario games work.
@@cerulee There also might be post-game really hard level. Plus the Reharsals might be a good challenge as well to get the gold rank (check the Overview video to see what I'm talking about), especially in the latter levels.

You're not the only one, I mean this is just a demo. A sample of the real game. People need to wait until the full game releases and finishes it. And then make judgement about it.
Judging by the prologue cutscene, it is most likely that Mario (and possibly Luigi) will appear either near or at the end of the game's story. The reason is that the Toads who are thrown out of the theater will think that the princess is in distress yet again, so they will go find Mario (and possibly Luigi) and get him (or them) to save her.
I see 2 possible things happening near or at the end of the full game:
1. Mario (and Luigi) bust(s) into the theater to save Peach and Stella when they (Peach and Stella) are in real trouble battling against Grape.
2. Mario and the Toads (and Luigi) arrive at the theater to save the princess, only to find that they (Peach and Stella) have already defeated Grape.

This game looks so cute and cozy
Probably not gonna buy it personally but it’s pretty cool Nintendo has been experimenting more lately

@@andrewboyd8073Considering the fact that she has been voicing Peach for at least 17 years, she’s bound to sound older now. And plus, this game is allowing the voice actor to customise Peach’s voice depending on the play, which is why there’s all sorts of tones on display.

Plus her voice in Wonder from last years didn't sound particularly deeper compared to past installments.

By the way, being _official_ only requires approval by developers in Nintendo, and doesn't matter whether it is a final publication or only a prototype.
