@@Whocares144 just because they are prisoners doesn't mean they are not human beings. Most prisoners in custody are there for non-violent crimes.

If you want to be able to adjust the temperature don't do crimes you're not at a hotel I've been to prison they're hot in summertime and they're cold in the winter the food sucks but you know what I got myself there now I have to deal with it and make the best of it you could complain every day in prison but you have to realize you're not at summer camp

If you can't do the time don't do the crime.. I wonder how they would feel if they were out working in it like I did six days a week 8 hours a day. And very little heat in my home. I wore layers I was fine...

Her son should have thought about that before he committed a crime. One more reason to not be a criminal. It’s always the criminals who cry the most when they get what they have coming.

My son is there and he deserves to be there. But there's so many different arguments to be made for treating people with dignity . All of which benefit society. If you treat someone as a subhuman how do you expect them to become a decent member of society. Idaho corrections are overcrowded and a financial drain. The way Idaho treats addiction and crime isn't working and nothing will change until it does.

It's always the family's that complain the most. It makes it harder on inmate. My aunt complained constantly for her grandson, it resulted in him being moved further and further away from her. (Seven times he was moved, finally to the farthest NW part of the state of TX) she finally quit complaining.
