I can't be the only one severely disappointed by the loss of giant battles...
+ChocolateProGamer No you're not. The Paper Craft battles were good but they were way to easy.
Giant battles were 10,000 times more fun... and epic. I couldn't enjoy the Papercraft battles as much as I should have because I spent the whole time thinking about how much better the giant ones were
+ChocolateProGamer Really? I'm not trying to hate on you but I liked the Idea of Papercraft Battles. I found them a Lot better than Just Touch Screen Controls in Bowser's Inside Story and The Motion Controls in Dream Team. I liked the awesome Music for the Giant Battles, but the Music for the Papercraft battles added the feeling that added to the Fun Controls of the Papercraft, if sometimes a Little too Loose. I also loved how Each Papercraft battle had different Papercrafts to control and battle. But it's your Opinion, so I won't try to Hate.
+Sarons It is a nice idea, but turning around is such a hassle in them and it doesn't control well. Not only that, but they are extremely easy. At least the giant battles in dream team were somewhat challenging (and brutal in hard mode... zeekeeper was the worst).

No, I find them hard to control and just annoying so I'd rather not.
Am I the only one who thinks this is the best of the series? I beaten BIS & DT but PJ just feels the most smooth gameplay wise. The story was always interesting, I rarely needed grinding and I can replay any boss I want with no turn limits! I hate when RPGs restrict bosses and Paper Jam fixes it.
Pit & Dark Pit //DaBluePittoo I know this is one year old but IMO Paper Jam's one of the worst Mario RPGs, the story sucks, it represents Paper Mario horribly, there's no uniqueness or even unique characters in the whole game. The gameplay is the only good thing.

I tend to agree I don’t hate the idea of the game I think it had potential but I think the limitations on the paper Mario series hampered the game’s potential
I like the idea of trio attacks and dash socks (f yes thank god) but the story was rather limited in its subject. It’s nice bowser is finally the villain but that’s what made the series rather interesting
I think some of the attacks in this game are freaking baller like mega thwonk
The main issue with it is one, it’s super easy, one of the easiest Mario and Luigi games, and two, it doesn’t feel like a crossover, it feels like Mario and Luigi with paper Mario slapped in, there are no paper Mario characters, all the enemies have the same personality, and there is no aspect of the game that references paper Mario other than the characters

Toad Trail - Hold up on the circle stick, and only tilt left or right. The trick is, is to ONLY gently tilt it. Don't hit any balloons and you'll get an excellent.

Gold161803 and they reused the giant luigi model for something that wouldn’t be used the same way. After all, it would’ve been weird if people found the model in the files if it wasn’t going to be used

As much as I think that the bro attacks are really creative and the gameplay is pretty fun, I still think this is the weakest of the series cause there is barely any story, originality for characters and the biggest factor is that, this isnt a mario and luigi game about paper mario, this is a mario and luigi game WITH paper mario in it, you can beat the game completely fine without either paper mario or the brothers, while paper Mario’s dodging is so easy to learn cause of the floating jump and copies make you even stronger basically making you unkillable, the brothers can still do without paper mario cause both brothers, despise having harder dodges, have access to bro attacks making their attacks stronger and the fights quicker, its like playing superstar saga but with an extra character that is optional and basically makes every fight easier, also papercraft battles were kind of stale honestly
In my opinion PiT is my favorite cause it is super challenging and so much fun to play at the same time, the story is amazing, characters are so unique from each other and they dont steer that far away from the mario universe and the gameplay is the most unique out of all of the other games, by far my favorite of the series but that is just a personal opinion, overall I think Paper jam could’ve done better if it had more time on the drawing board but its still a good game to play ngl, I had fun playing the game even tho it wasn’t the same experience as the other games of the series, at least is faaaaar better than sticker star lol
