Dartmouth class of 84 alumni bass drum 1 of 5,glad to see the tradition of excellence continues, it all began in the early 80s!
Yeah Dartmouth!!! Since the late 90s Dartmouth HS drum line has been playing with sound quality and clarity that is(in my humble opinion) the Gold standard for high school drum line. Really, it’s a testament to the technique program. Moreover, the students will carry that knowledge and understanding with them in so many aspects of their life. In a few words; they learn that high achievement in anything requires committing to a proven formula.
I have to say since the 1980s Dartmouth has continued to impress. Love the 6 bass! I played bass 1 from 1980 to 84. We had 5 bass drums no one had ever seen a 5 tuned bass and we rocked it! It all started in the late 70s when Gil Madrigale brought in Ted Nicolaris from drum corps to transform the drumline. From that time forward Dartmouth has always been a force to be reckoned with! Some of the best times of my life.Go big green,Dartmouth Pride
