One thing that is lost in translation is in all of these videos when you see adults talking to little children almost all adults use honorific. In the culture of hierarchy, adults still use honorific even when addressing kids because the kids are still strangers.
It's an Asian thing, one of the things I love in my culture.
@@user-cp7lj4xj7w It is Asian culture, lmaoo... older people do not normally use honorifics on the younger ones. It's the younger ones doing it usually. And just because Korea stopped doing it for a period of time doesn't mean it's no longer a culture anymore.
And Asia is composed not just of Korea, lols. Most of Asian countries will use some sort of term to address people older than them more so than our western counterparts.

@@05dal We use honorifics in Greece as well, when we talk to older people or strangers. So I guess it's not just an Asian thing.
