The 20mph LIMITED LaFerraris! The Truth Behind these RARE FERRARI PROTOTYPES

- It's not every day you get to take a close look at the prototypes for something as special as a LaFerrari! We're joining SCC with my 675LT Spider for the run to Salon Prive; home to some incredible cars on display. However, it's the unusual rare test cars from Maranello that intrigue me!
Fair to say it has been a while since my 675LT Spider had a really good run out, and after last week's trip to Petrolheadonism Underground, this time around we're pulling out the McLaren to join the hypercar convoy with SCC over to Salon Prive London, taking place in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. A fun personal memory was attending Chelsea AutoLegends on the same grounds over 10 years ago, arriving with a friend in a Ferrari F50 while the late Sir Stirling Moss waved the chequered flag over head.
In the convoy we find the likes of the Koenigsegg CCR and Jesko, a Pagani Huayra Roadster, McLaren Senna chassis 1, a Porsche 918 Spyder and plenty more interesting and colourful cars. The latter being the point of the day with the coordinated convoy, putting my Orion Purple into a batch of similar shade supercars for the occasion. Upon arrival, there's more to see including a pair of Aston Martin Valkyries, many extraordinary classics, and a great display from SuperVettura - Koenigsegg UK.
The stand put together by Carrs Ferrari, presenting some examples from a private collection, is what truly grabs my attention as you very rarely get to see some of these things. Consisting of a 'regular' 458 Italia, through LaFerrari MP9 prototipo and MP10 prototipo, through to a production model - of which I have actually filmed on the channel before. These showcase various stages of the LaFerrari production, however while some are out there in private hands, you rarely get to see them yourself.

love that you switched to 4k, also the videos are so much brighter and vibrant now, we can really see the color of all the cars, looks so much better, one suggestion I would give is to include more of the people from your team in your videos like brad, puppi, smarc, and the rest of the team, we would really love that.

from the camcorder to a Samsung? can't really tell what phone it is at 7:25 (reflection on the sunglasses),and its better,capture so much more detail and the colors are amazing and just fits for normal vlog type videos.

Oh wow, so cool to see the prototypes out! I was lucky enough to see them both at Carrs Ferrari in Exeter last year when they were there for a while. So interesting to be able to get up close and see engineering that went on.
18:00, haven't seen this kind of wheel spec, ever, on any Ferrari. Would be interesting to see in person. I almost wish the caliper was NOT in red; maybe in silver or black, because I'm kind of getting a red-overload in the current spec. Interesting nonetheless and thanks for making an outright point of it. Great content as usual!
As others have said, the La Ferrari prototypes are usually at Carrs in Exeter. Very friendly dealership, and Dean the head of experience there is a world of knowledge. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Exeter.

Glad you're having such luck with you 675LT. I had my 720S for 7 weeks and only managed 211 miles. During this period the car spent four weeks in the shop, l was told this isn't uncommon. Such a shame, it seemed to be quite capabe when working. I no longer own it.

The 675 LT Spider just seems to be the sweet spot in your collection. Classy, the right levels of performance, and as you say, it works! Such a cool car! And comes with a handy catalogue for DIY tips 🙂

4k is a welcomed improvement but now that you did it you need to commit to it hahaha. also I notices alot of skipped frames which is likely an issue when exporting the footage from premiere pro. maybe a higher bitrate will solve that.

Must say that overall quality of the specs in that convoy was stunning... Also, I actually never realized that "normal" carrera with aero kit looks that good until recently when I saw a girl collecting a silver one saying GT3 is a bit of "too umph" for her but loved the look

I know the LT is enjoying its semi-retirement as you said, the occasional-use ~1000 mile per year stage of its life. But man, it would be incredible to see the Orion Purple sparkling in the California sunshine.

Forget the Ferraris, it is so nice to see the 675LT being used! In my opinion this car deserves a trip abroad like the AMG GT-R or the GT. It is an important car for the collection.
