This has be done in the 90s Le Cirque hasn't been the "IT" place in NYC for years plus Jacques Torres left as pastry chef in 1999. If you also notice this was also when Barney's was dressing her. She looks so chic in this outfit. When Barney's was dressing her during The Joan Rivers Show days was when she looked the MOST amazing. No more big hair and puffy gowns.
I remember watching this years ago and her tips on silverware placement always stuck with me and I employ them till this day. I miss her humor so much. Rest in peace, funny lady. :)
Love Joan, (R.I.IP), and Mr. Boggs, you are missed on the telly'. Watching this and some of your earlier shows, (ie: Peter Allen), reminds cf of my late teens and early 20's ENJOYING life and a time when one thinks this is all "forever". You should have been a national name, Mr. Boggs, but I'm glad you kept yourself so "East Coast". Gosh, Channel 5 midday was your time slot and if I recall correctly, you would pop up on the 10 PM news with entertainment reports, (ugh, Stewart Klein & his "humorous" film reviews!). This segment with Joan looks to be early 90's, but I checked out your net' channel, and you still look great in your very recent pieces. Prosper always and much health to you alway, Mr. Boggs. You really have made me happy, reminding me of simpler, more hopeful times. Thank you again!
She cracks jokes but does not lose her humanity - always grateful and optimistic - life is a ride and laugh - it takes away the parts of life that are difficult and or cant change .
It`s incredible and funny at the same time , just how high class, beautiful and well behaved, Joan was in every aspect of her life, and she combined that with such mastery
Something that Joan has that new comediennes don't have...CLASS.
Can we have more classy comedians like her?
I think she was at her prettiest in the 90s
Don't know what it is about Joan Rivers but I really like her a lot. I would've liked to known her in life.
Hollywood and the fashion industry owe a thank you and apology to Joan Rivers.
Joan Rivers was not only funny but extremely intelligent and honest.

I like Joan's face at this time before she went overboard with plastic surgery
I had the biggest crush on Joan Rivers, the greatest comedienne of modern times. Her death was so shocking. RIP Joan... Thank you for the laughs.
Joan was the best - there will never be another Joan.
I am so glad I grew up with
this is such a nice rare interview since its Joan being Joan without the snarky jokes and all, but really just being serious and open about her life
I remember watching this years ago and her tips on silverware placement always stuck with me and I employ them till this day. I miss her humor so much. Rest in peace, funny lady. :)
Interesting interview...very classy...she was one of a kind.....
