One of the Vidarbha's AshtaVinayak Shami Vighnesh Ganapati Temple lay on the Hill in Aadasa close to Nagpur.
The spot is divine, clearly feels true serenity after Darshan of Ganesha.
Dedicated to Lord Ganesha , the temple is located about 40 kms from Nagpur main city. The shrine is located on the top of small hillock & can be reached through a tiny trek of 150 meters or a flight of about 60 steps.
The temple is pretty old & depicts a beautiful deity of Bal Ganesha. There are 9-10 other small temples of lord Shiva , Hanuman, Kal Bhairav, Kali mata , Nag Devta etc in same premises.
A restaurant ‘Annapurna ‘ ,located in the temple is excellent . It offers various snacks , meals & hot drinks , as per your requirements. The food is very hygienic, tasty & service is ....simply fantastic. We tasted Jhumka Bhakri , which was simply awesome .
A beautiful place for family picnic.
Worth visiting. By road, take the saoner route, as it is faster and less potholes, inspite of being longer.
Eat Bhakri there, cooked freshly by locals. It's good.
I prefer saoner road only so that u can see so many river crossings during mansoon
