Gyan Lopez (Gyaneshwar) was born in Barcelona,Spain. He studied biology and very soon started to travel. He became a sannyasin in the early 80's and lived in several sannyas communes in Spain, Germany and Holland. The last years he was living in Barcelona and in Thiruvannamalai (India). He loved the simple life around Arunachala, the sacred mountain where the mystic Ramana Maharshi lived his whole life. Gyan's passion for photography bloomed 10-12 years ago.
Gyaneshwar left the body on Feb 1, 2014, in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India.
His last words to a long-time friend were, "Arunachala forever."
Mother India is a magic land where, despite the extreme poverty and all the difficulties, people are still laughing, dancing and singing . A big lesson for all the westerners that visit India, because in the 'civilised' West we have everything except JOY.. This beautiful video brought into my mind all the colourful sweet memories from India and a smile filled my heart with joy! Thank you!
