Idc you can’t argue with a former foster child, she is dead ass wrong and them kids suffering. She just rlly made it worse but ok keep agreeing you prolly never been in foster care 🙄! Them kids need love not half ass ppl who don’t give af about it em!!! *watched whole video

This was a bad situation. However, they didn't even try to meet her halfway. As a foster kid, would you have chosen auntie over a foster home? They didn't HAVE the resources to treat the kids equally. She shouldn't have said what she said to the kids though....

I agree! Those kids are already going through so much & chances are didn’t have the best life before everything turned upside down. Instead of creating a safe place for them, developing those bonds of security, she’s showing them how great her kids have it & basically saying “you’ll never have this from this house, if you want this, you’ll have to creat it for yourself”. I wouldn’t be surprised if those kids grew up to be successful & have amazing careers/lives while her kids grew up spoiled & entitled, whining bc they didn’t get a job they wanted.

YTA, big time. You agreed to be their foster PARENT, that automatically means more than being their auntie. If you want them well behaved, treat them well it's really that simple. You're only traumatizing these poor kids more than they already have been and all you had to do was step up and treat them kindly. The college fund thing is excusable cause college is expensive, but every other way you treat them poorly has come back to bite you in the ass. I hope they and your sister disown you over this

right. tbh she sounds like a bitch and i'd hate to live with her. Yes, their mother did kill their dad, but how is that the kids fault? it seems like whenever she mentions it she kind of blames them for it. She claims that the kids arent well mannered, and thats to be expected. Their dad is dead, their mom is in jail, and their mother murdered him. And she is DEFINITELY NOT budgeting right. $60 a day for 3 teens is enough for groceries. And she says that she can't afford clothes for them but I don't think she's trying hard enough. Sometimes thrift stores have sales, so what wouldve been a 3-4 dollar article of clothing is 1-2. She's definitely not wrong for making them get a job, but she is wrong for the way she talks to them. She's very condescending.

Lol, the amount of entitlement in your comment is unbelievable. It's so easy to point fingers and give opinions when it's not you putting up with those teenagers tantrums. She did them a favor taking them in to keep them together. Trauma has already been inflicted by their own flesh and blood and her taking them in is better than being separated in foster homes or group homes where they can be molested or worse. I'm sure she did not come down to the difficult decision of calling the social worker to take them because they were perfect angels. Teenagers can be a nightmare.

Exactly. Their dad is dead and their mom killed him. They are going to be grieving. Also, holding foster care and group homes over their heads is absolutely disgusting.
Only the college thing is reasonable.

YTAH!!! My sister would NEVER treat my kids like this & I would NEVER treat hers like this. We both love each others kids like they are our own. Our kids are close like siblings then cousins. This lady should have NEVER taken them in, she’s just showing them how well her kids have it & how bad these kids have it. It takes a cold person to treat kids who are going through so much like this.

Not cool to be sure. Can some other relatives chip in to help out? 3 kids extra must be ecpensive. Would dad’s family be willing to help? These kiddos are victims here.

I can understand what she's saying and agree with most of it. She said they're not well behaved and making them work to earn an income helps set them up for the future especially since they're NOT her kids. She isn't obligated to set up their college fund their parents probably didnt even set them up a college fund. In a group home you'd be lucky to get new clothes with the check foster kids get. She said they eat a lot which makes since because they're teens. I think they're difficult because they're grieving but they could've been difficult before this because she implied her sister didn't raise well mannered kids. Fundraising isn't a bad thing either regardless of what she's doing for her child. Her sister shouldn't have expected the OP to diminish her childs quality of life and what she is able to provide for her child simply because she wants all of her kids in the same home after SHE murdered their father and went to jail leaving her kids to be separated. Kids are expensive and even more so when they are teens because teens have interests and want nicer clothes and flashy stuff most of the time. Then when you don't give them responsibility (working/fundraising) it can be harder after school to get them started. They're learning how to budget their money and prioritize their needs over wants. The lady writing the story probably isn't explaining it in the best way but since none of them seemed happy with the arrangement she had every right to find them a better placement but she could've wrote the story to better explain her choices since she's telling her business already

OMG thank you! It’s like people are over looking ALL of that and just mad at op! I’m pretty positive the mom and dad didn’t raise them weight at all they probably fought all the time and were toxic towards each other. She said she only wanted one child so to go from one to 4 is stressful. and idk why the teens are mad about her telling them to get a job her own son has a job!!!

@@AjiaJ I genuinely think the aunt was trying to set them up for a beneficial future with the limited resources she had like she'sdoing with her own child. She didn't do anything wrong but if they don't want to be there she can't do much about that either. I had to watch the full video because I didn't understand why the comments were so negative and saying she's a horrible person

No she is wrong. They are children and she can I get food stamps for the kids to be able to feed them, and two use the money she was getting for them to actually take care of them. So yea she is wrong, and her husband is wrong too.

She’s literally just taking the time to belittle them under the guise of trying to seek advice she’s flexing that her sister made bad choices and she didn’t (which is fine it’s the truth) but to take someone in when you didn’t want to and then try to justify treating them like you didn’t want them is a scummy thing to do especially for likes. People pleasers who secretly resent the people their aiming to please always leads to a bad outcome.

I don’t know why they don’t wanna work! I mean op’s son even work, yeah he can save his money but it’s not like he doesn’t have to work at all. I would personally buy their clothes but I’d still encourage them to get a job !

@@AjiaJ I’m gonna say this right now I don’t thing the deep down problem is not wanting to get jobs. That could be a minor surface level complaint sure, but realistically I’m betting they have quickly caught onto how they’re treated like burden and the othering that’s going on. They probably want to get this situation over with as soon as possible now because they know they’re unwanted in their Aunt’s home and taking the chance in a stranger’s home who may or may not care hurts a whole lot less than a family member making it apparent that they don’t love you equally if at all.
